It was about 7pm on a Saturday night when we realized we needed a room for the night in Bethel. We feared we might have difficulty but were very pleased that the Inn had availability. Upon check in we were even more pleased that they had upgraded our room for the evening. We had a phenomenal impromptu stay and everything was perfect, especially drinks at the Tavern to close out the night.

Hotel's Favourite
The Bethel Inn Resort was a great golf getaway for our group of four couples. The service was great. We had two, two bedroom condos on the ninth fairway and they were clean, spacious and comfortable. The Pub was perfect as the service was awesome, and food was good. Breakfast and one night’s dinner was included. The golf course was very nice. Ladies tees were very fair and the men’s blues were 6250 of challenging golf (especially with the wind in the mountains). We will make this an annual trek to Bethel.

So glad you and your friends enjoyed your stay and our Geoffrey Cornish designed golf course. I will also pass along your complements on our Millbrook Tavern and Grille. Our golf packages are very popular and, if you choose to take advantage of our complete golf school, your group may feel comfortable moving back to our black tees which measure nearly 6,700 yards! Please look me up on your next visit. Allen Connors Managing Partner

The Bethel Inn Resort is a Maine Gem, great for families given all the potential activities and local hiking. The staff is welcoming and expert. We hiked, golfed, swam and even caught a show at the local theater, the Gem, which is in itself unique and fun.

We stayed in a very spacious 1 bedroom 2 bath condo for a week in July 2021. The check in process was fine and quick. The condo was in overall excellent shape. Furnishings were in excellent condition. All the touch surfaces were clean. A few oversights were noticed as maintenance issues. The two front doors really need to have better locks. VERY POOR LOCKS. Dead bolt locks needed. Both front door handles were loose. I fixed that. The bedroom desk had four wobbly legs. I fixed that. The upstairs bathroom wall by the toilet paper was splattered with something. I cleaned that. Two large stains in the recently replaced nice looking carpet need to be cleaned. The dishes and utensils were adequate. Appliances were clean and functional. The microwave and dishwasher are about 21 years old and show it. Refrigerator and stove were in very good condition. The jacuzzi tub worked fine. The view from the patio overlooks the golf course. Very pleasant and peaceful. The heater/ac units in the condo work ok. The temperature settings were not accurate. The bed was average as far as comfort. Parking area outside in front of the condo was good. Need the parking lines repainted. We ate one dinner at the lodge restaurant/pub. Decent meal. A breakfast buffet is offered upstairs. The "downtown" in within walking distance. There are two grocery stores. One down the street which was better than I expected with very reasonable prices. There is a dollar general further away. A Post Office is on Main Street. Other shops are down the street. We WILL return for another stay. Make sure you bring a medium or heavier jacket/coat. There are a few restaurants in the area. We did not have a bad meal. The ski area is not very far away. We were very pleased with our condo.

Great time at the Bethel inn. Golf course was in good shape, room was clean and comfortable, folks in the tavern super friendly and accommodating. Did have a rain day - but still enjoyed our time with friends.
