Dirty, black toilet and tub, dirty bedding, cockroaches, homeless people wandering the grounds. Shameful! This is the worst La Quinta ever. Do not stay here, you will regret it! How this place can even exist under the La Quinta name. In fact, will not stay at another La Quinta after this experience!
The grounds were filthy, trash and cigarette butts everywhere. People living the rooms and riding bikes around the outdoor hallways. The windows in the lobby appeared to NEVER have been washed. Creepy people walking around the parking lots, some working on broken down cars. Roaches so bad I had to go the the front desk and get some bug killer. The roaches had a race track around the night table. I'm surprised that this flea bag is even listed on Expidia.
We live in Slidell, La and needed a room in Slidell,La due to Hurricane Zeta passing (Oct 29,2020) more than half of Slidell residents loss power. La Quinta room normal rate is $59. on a non-holiday day. La Quinta saw dollar $$ signs when they were booking quicker than normally due to power outage which means La Quinta increased their price from $59. to $96(before taxes) The rooms were not even WORTH that price. AC Filter was full not cleaned out, bathroom ceiling were full of MOLD, several big and little roaches were coming in and out a hole in bathroom, towel had blood and make-up stains, bed sheets had cigarettes burns. That was inside the room. Outside was no better... Trash all around the parking lot and entry way of building. How can La Quinta illegally price gauge…
Dirty carpet. Linens not fresh. Non smoking room reeked of smoke. AC did not eliminate the smell. The room was gross. The building needs renovation, in the day it looks old. One side of the building had broken pieces of wood.
My company and I are located at this hotel for the storm and we are all experiencing bugs in all of our rooms !! Tuns .... I do not recommend this place to anyone ! We have no where else to stay so we are kind of stuck here this place should be free! If we could relocate somewhere big free we would be glad to!
