Someone on here has already described the scam that these gits conduct. They charge as much as they get away with for very little in return. This is no 'Budget' price for a run down hole of a hotel. The outside seems fine and the pool looked nice but you couldn't get in it for the fully clothed locals splashing about in it. A gang of youths were constantly hanging about the corner of the motel. The room. The smell was overwhelming. Insidious. It was disgusting. No coffee, hairdryer or ironing facilities. The complimentary soap was Catholic. The washing machine leaked and no powder was provided by this expensive establishment. It was rubbish. The bed was covered in plastic and topped with dirty and stained sheets. No refund was given when I wanted to stay elsewhere. The area was a dive. Stay in West Monroe and for the price these robbers charged you could get a lovely Quality Inn instead. AVOID THIS stinking, infested pit at all costs. …
Room was clean, smelled funny, but that wasn't just the problem......... Don't trust them !!!! At first I wasn't going to complain. There was a strange smell as you walk in but the room was clean and we were tired. There was mildew on the shower curtain. I would have just mentioned this to them until the $$ incident. We booked with Budget Inn of Monroe because of the $43 price on booking.com and drove further from the highway for this price. When we got there we were told $59+. I showed her the $43 price on Booking.com but she said that there was also a $10 service fee. I asked for what and first we were told for cleaning? What? All hotels clean and don't charge you. I thought it was almost 1am I said I'd deal with this in the morning with the owner who I was told was asleep. At 9am I went to see the owner and was told the $10 extra stands for service fee? Again I asked. Then I was told it was the Booking.com fee so I went to my room and looked this up. On BC it clearly states that BC does not charge any fees. I went back to the manager/owner and still she refused to return the $10 fee (plus tax) and still this made our room $53+, where we could of gotten a room for less closer to the highway if we were going to pay this price. The Budget Inn will bait you with the ad of $43 and then hook you with an extra $10 fee. Consistently she said their price is $60 and if you add the $43, $10 and tax they made sure they got the $60 NOT honoring the advertised BC $43 price. They are a scammer and do it well !!! Then. don't even look at the pool. Plus you have to stand outside to check in and we were there close to midnite. The pool was disgusting, white stuff floating all on the top......... I;ll be happy to send you pics !!…
This company knows how to scam you majorly, with lots of stinky stank odors, towels, and failure furniture. I'd recommend this to a skunk. I couldn't even sleep because of these stinky stank odors. Sleep in your car! Too stinky!
Drinking Bleach is more comfortable than this hotel worst 60 bucks ever the room smelt like drugs and depression we heard some idiots brawling in the halls it's not worth it sleeping in your car is safer
The room smelled awful. We booked two rooms for our family and my sisters family and they were both awful. My husband went to get our money back and the man took him to other rooms to see if they were better. They found roaches-the biggest he's ever seen. Filthy place with odors. Save yourself time & sanity and drive past it! Yuck!
