The prices for food and accommodation in Alona beach are very expensive. This one i got from online booking app was the cheapest i found with own bathroom. I got room 12 which is a standard double room w/ fan. First thing i noticed is that the way going to the reception area and going to your room is not cemented and can get muddy so wearing white shies or flipflops is a no no. Then when I enter the room there is no rug and i have to ask for it. There's also no complimentary soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and toothpaste. The only available complimentary item inside is a toilet paper and a heavily Chlorined towel. The bathroom also stinks and the lavatory is damaged and leaking non stop. They also don't have a hot/cold shower. There is a small tv in the room but the remote wasn't working but it's okay i really don't watch tv a lot. The bed is fine for me because the frame is sturdy but the pillow is so soft and i have to use 2. At night you will see a lot of black ants near the light and fan switches idk why. The only thing i like here is its location and price. It is the cheapest place i found that is near the beach.

This is a budget friendly accommodation in Brgy.Tawala, where Alona beach is located. Though it is not a beachfront property. It is 5-10 minutes walk from Alona beach (depends on your footstep, hehehe). The room is small however it has its own toilet and bath. It has cable TV as well but internet connection is just only in public areas. This is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable hotel in Alona area. ;)

The rooms are small, the hallway is damp and the bathroom has a disgusting smell coming from the drain. They add 22% vat+service fee (which we new) but over the three days we stayed here, we had to ask for clean towels at least 5 times before we got it. Also they don’t put soap in the bathroom, they just say that “people usually buy it on the Main Street”. Would definitely NOT recommend this.

We stayed in fan room which was good enough to stay for a few days. The room was small, there was no hot water but it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom sometimes smelled though. The weather was not too hot so we even did not turn on the fan during sleeping. The location was little bit away from the noisy restaurants and bars so we could sleep well. The hotel had some seats to sit and drink something outside. If you are coming to Alona beach for swimming, prefer somewhere else which is closer to Dumaluan Beach as untreated sewage was leaking to Alona beach. Because of low tide, beaches in Panglao were too shallow so it was not possible to swim.(In Feb)

We booked this hotel as we had recently stayed in a dormitel hotel when travelling around Philippines and had an above average stay. However, this stay was different. Although greeted by a lovely man on reception, when we got to our room it was very run down compared to the other which we had stayed at. The walls were dirty, the fan wasn't the best, the throw on the bed was tiny, the bed creaked loudly from a tiny movement, there was a cockroach in the bathroom and ants on the wall, worst of all there was a horrible stench coming from what I assume to be the drains in the bathroom. Also, during the middle of the night the electric went off meaning the fan went off and we woke up sweating. When another guest confronted reception about this, he said it was due to maintenance and would be off all day, which none of us were told about. The one positive was that the hotel is situated In a good location with alona beach being a 5 min walk away and plenty of shops and restraunts close by. If it wasn't for the location, I would not recommend this hotel.

The rooms are actually a block of huts away from the reception. Due to the way they've been built the rooms are really damp and smell awful. There were hundreds of ants the first morning we woke up, all crawling in our bags. So we changed rooms and had to empty all our bags out. Outside the rooms it's like an alley so it's also damp and wet which attracted more ants, cockroaches and caterpillars to our room. The wifi doesn't work 'it's not very strong' the reception said. I don't understand why these hotels don't just say there is no wifi rather than advertise wifi but it doesn't work. Overall if you're looking for a bed and not much else then it's good because it's cheap and 10 mins to the beach and restaurants.

Double rooms, small but new and comfortable, with private bathroom, for a reasonable price. Location is a bit hidden, but walking distance to Alona Beach. Wifi does not reach the rooms. You can expect electricity cuts... but I guess that everywhere in the area.

Rooms were clean, but very basic and extremely tiny. A plus was the quiet ceiling fan and an ensuite bathroom. Staff were polite enough, but the insistence of payment upfront and a deposit on top of that wasn't very pleasant. No wifi in room, but worked in reception - however it would be nice if they would set up some more seating and a table for guests to use the wifi. Area was quiet, which was great. However, the street to go to the center was very dark at night. We stayed here because of the good price (790 pesos per night IIRC), which was the best price for an ensuite room we could find.

Cheap, clean and good location. Wifi didn't work in the rooms but worked perfectly at the front desk. We enjoyed our stay here so we ended up booking up with dormitels again in el nido! Staff were very helpful in recommendation what to do and where to go.
