What a wonderful stay! We visited the dog area in the back of the hotel and there were children who were eager to love on my fur babies. The family atmosphere and eagerness of the staff to make sure my stay was pleasant are truly a breath of fresh air. They work hard but will drop what they are doing at the drop of a hat if you need anything at all. Thanks for being a home away from home :)
I had left some of my belongings in my room and did not realize til after checkout. I called the hotel in a panic and I spoke with a lovely woman by the name of renae (spelling) she was extremely comforting and kind! I cannot thank her enough! I was able to receive my belongings and everyone I was in contact with were very nice. Even during the booking of the room, I had such a lovely encounter! I would love to hug each an everyone that I came in contact with, they were such lovely people! I do not have anything negative to say about our stay at Lexington South. Everyone we encountered were welcoming and friendly! And the rooms were clean and taken care of. Thank you Red Roof Inn of Lexington South, Renae and the booking agent for making our entire experience welcomed and comforting! Thank you <3…
Renea at the front desk is awesome! She is always friendly and is always smiling. She treats you with respect and kindness. Red roof south rooms have always been clean anytime we have stayed. Renea helps you anyway she can.
I waited to give the manager an opportunity to contact me, no one has so here goes. I spoke to three different people at the lobby window; one said the manager was out of town until last night. I had a list of issues. 1) I first tired to call and check availability on the phone (same day reservation for 2 nights - last minute). I could barely understand her because the English was so poor. I told her I'd wait until I arrived and she said there were only a few left and tried to complete it on the phone but I wouldn't. 2) The price on-site was considerably more than the price she quoted me on the phone. 3) I had to initial a sheet stating I would be charged for smoking in the room. (we do not so not a problem). Someone had smoked in that room!! 4) The hair dryer was broken 5) I put water in the iron to use it to touch up some pants and the water POURED out the bottom! 6) I finally laid down near midnight and found blood in the center of one of the pillow cases. There were NO OTHER ROOMS at any property or I wouldn't have stayed here to begin with. I threw the pillow on the floor and tried to sleep. 7) The lobby is still closed and you have to check in/out at a little window. The window sill and tray where you have to pass your id and payment is nasty. Everything else with the room was fine. It was noisy, lots of people talking, road noise and sirens. I hope I never have to stay in anything like this ever again, I really had no choice other than the car.…

This is a must read. So I'm returning from taking my 7 pound Chihuahua to potty and I get on the ELEVATOR, OMG. I turn around to push the button and my dog isn't on the ELEVATOR, The door closed. I'm holding his leash and the Door Closed. I'm freaking out. Panicking and, then!!! The door opened and my Heavenly Angel Anton is HOLDING my dog and had removed his collar.. Thank you doesn't seem enough. Oh the elevator man was here very quickly and repaired it. God bless the Red Roof and Anton
I am literally going to have to use a flamethrower on every single item I brought with me on what was supposed to be a fun trip with some friends. Without a doubt the worst place I have ever stayed. We had multiple issues with the door and the door lock, they changed our room location without telling us, and then proceeded to book the room we were in that we were meant to have vacated, so then random strangers just popped in to our room in the middle of the night because they were given the key to our room. We tried to pass it all off and make the best of the situation and we had been very merciful up until this point, however the next morning we awoke to find even more uninvited guests in the form of bed bugs. We took the bug to the front desk and witnessed a complete non-reaction. They essentially told us that it was not their problem. I wish I could take legal action or perhaps smite this particular establishment with the intensity and rage of a scorned ancient god. I have been panicking and quite full of rage since our early departure from this Red Roof Inn. I can no longer contain my fury and I believe the particular color of the roof of the Red Roof Inn will forevermore incite a merciless and unquenchable rage within me. We have currently caught a bed bug from our room, and it has been trapped as proof of the existence of the bugs and it has been trapped as penance for its sins. Can it ever truly repent? No. These bugs and this motel have literally ruined my life. The bug in question has shown no signs of remorse of emotion as of yet., just like the front desk employee. Sleeping in your car would be preferable than this motel. There is nothing I can do now except warn everyone else not to go here unless you have an urge to infest your home and destroy your livelihood and future. <3…
Recently I began to remodel my home in my Town of Lexington. I found that the Red Roof Inn South was the most affordable place to stay over the week of massive plumbing work. Upon arrival, Renee, I'm assuming is the Night Time Auditor or Manager, got to know me by name, learned of my particular schedule, and was always smiling, regardless. My Home Repair is now complete, but I return to Red Roof Inn South twice weekly, just to get "out of the house". This is due to how well I was received and treated by Renee. Let's Keep Renee and Red Roof Inn South # 1 Lexington!
When I go in I’m greeted professionally. I’ve stayed multiple times and the clerk Renee knows when I’m walking up and has my reservation pulled up. I work for the local hospital and he has my room ready fast. After a long day that’s means a lot to someone who travels as much as I do.
