We stopped along highway for a night. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Quiet. Shower had good hot water with good water pressure. King room a little small but comfortable. Close place to eat for dinner just on other side of highway. Easy to get to with full bar and beers.
Roshai was SO kind and helpful to us when we checked in and throughout our stay. We really appreciated her! The hotel was what we needed while in town for an event at the Kentucky Horse Park. It was very convenient.
Hotel initially seemed okay - about what you'd expect for the outskirts of Lexington. After getting into bed, we discovered a BEDBUG. Staff initially expressed sympathy but not very helpful in finding another place to stay.
This hotel is much closer to a 4 star except no restaurant on premise. The rooms have been recently recarpeted. Spacious and quiet. Breakfast was great and included good quality proteins that they seem to rotate, hot items, waffes, oatmeal, eggs x2, yogurt, breads, cereals, fruits, juices. Only suggestion for improvement...they offer 24 hour coffee/hot water, the medium coffee was strong which is great but it was also bitter maybe left from night or made too early in too large of quantity. Staff was pleasant. Clean. Excellent value, near highway but not noisy at all. Outside food available in patking lot. They also had well stocked convenience center.
We had a good stay, no complaints. Complimentary breakfast options good. Booked room on short notice and was hoping for a sofa in the room but none was available. I requested a first floor room but they were too booked and didn't have any. Price was reasonable
The hotel was clean, updated, good water pressure in the shower, comfy bed & pillows, and Jenny helped us figure out a brief TV issue the evening we checked in. Ben was helpful in the morning, too. The room was a bit on the small size, but comfy nonetheless.
Fantastic rooms and comfortable beds. We were there with a scheduled bus trip. We stayed one night going to our destination and then coming back home. We asked for a meeting room last minute and they were quick to accommodate and at no charge!
In an era where finding hotel staff is very difficult, it's wonderful to run into energetic, happy and helpful employees. We stayed four days and three nights. No matter who worked the front desk at any time of the day, they were so nice. They saw us dragging in after a day of bicycle riding on the Bourbon Burn and always offered us a kind word and water. The morning breakfast crew keeping the food out rarely interacted, but it did not detract from the experience. The physical hotel is the owners responsibility to invest capex to keep it current. There are tell-tell signs everywhere of a well worn product. There are stains on the carpet, missing paint on the walls, toilet seat askew against the wall, dirty or mismatched grout, broken parameter fence, and scratches everywhere. I probably would have landed on five stars because the service was so good that who cares about the aging product; however, the free breakfast was kind of an issue. The hard-boiled eggs were frozen and thawed. The white had separated and the center was liquefied. The scrambled eggs were free. I ate them for the protein before our daily bike ride, but they were not good. They ran out of bananas.…
We booked this room (318) for 2 nights and for the most part very pleased except for a couple items... The air conditional was VERY noise and would rev up and down like a sup up mussel car, very anointing, I have had flee bite hotels with quieter AC before... The desk chair was designed so their was a ridge running across your tail bone, not good... other then these 2 complaints it was fine... they had a hot breakfesh in these post Covid days... a big plus...
I usually don’t write a review of a hotel stay. Since the pandemic we’ve experienced bad service at lot of places due to staffing shortages. At the Fairfield in in Lexington, ky a front desk staffer named Roshai was the most amazing person handling a lot of different task at the same time. She was so warm and personable and I hope that the team at Marriot tells he that we notice your great efforts. Thanks again for just being amazing Roshai!!!
