First time visiting Wild Coast. Phoned Kob Inn, speaking to Afrikaans lady, Marietha and explained that it will be our first time and the way she described Kob Inn just sounded to good to be true. Boy was I surprised when we got there. Greeted like royalty by Pauline, rooms was beautiful. Food was excellent. Going to the little shop and was welcomed to "The Kob Inn Mall" by Marietha. Everything and more could be found there. Bar is well stock with excellent prices. Owners Daan and Violet interact with guests. Next time we will definitely stay longer. So worth it and so much to do. Best of the best in the Wild Coast.
Kob Inn is the best place on the Wild Coast. We always find our stay there so special.Staff are really friendly and helpful and it is well looked after. It has a family feel to it - and guests are always made to feel like they belong there. Well done Kob Inn!
My wife and I recently returned to Kob Inn after a 20 year absence and were delighted to find that nothing much had changed. It is still an absolute delight to holiday there. The last 30km are on a sand road but we easily managed it in our Honda CRV. From the.moment you get there you start to relax and unwind. There are 3 tasty meals served each day and whilst there is no alternative we certainly enjoyed each meal and we were impressed with the food. The rooms are very comfortable and were serviced each morning whilst we ate breakfast. The pub is the central gathering point and we soon made new friends in the very relaxed environment. The biggest surprise was the extensive wine list at very reasonable prices. In a nutshell the owners Daan and Violet can only be complimented for running a great establishment. We left wondering why we hadn’t returned for such a long time. We highly recommend Kob Inn for families of all ages who wish to put their feet up and relax. There are activities such as horse riding, quad bike trails, fishing, tennis, bird watching and long beach walks. We will definitely be back 👍👏👏…
Everything was just perfect. From reception till the end. Friendly staff, Daan and his wife did so much effort to make us feel at home. Rooms and bedding extremely clean. Food to good for words. Such an friendly and warm atmosphere. Child-friendly. Swimming pool area so nice. Keep up the good work. Hope to be back some day.
We had a fantastic weekend at Kob inn with our family. The hotel is well looked after so worth a trip. The rooms are exceptionally clean and big. The service we received from the staff was 10/10. It was lovely being met everyday by wonderfully happy and helpful people! The food was also exceptional and such a bonus not having to worry about making your own food. Thanks Kob inn we will be back 😎
What a great start to our hiking holiday! Delicious food, friendly service and comfortable accommodation. Thank you for keeping lunch for us on our arrival day. Our stay was enjoyed by everyone and this hotel is still as lovely as we remembered it from a visit ten years ago!
Kob Inn has everything you need for an incredibly fulfilling getaway - a perfect balance between relaxation and adventure. We loved exploring the pristine beauty of the coastline, rivers, bush and birdlife, which we did on foot, horseback and by canoe. At the end of each day, we enjoyed sundowners at the bar which has a spectacular view, before a homely meal and excellent wine. The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home and cater for your every need. Will definitely be back!
The Kob Inn is our little piece of Heaven and the most relaxing holiday anyone could ask for. All your meals are prepared beautifully and incredibly yummy!! The rooms are serviced by friendly staff and it so nice to come back from the beach to a clean and tidy room. The Beaches are mind blowingly beautiful and if you like fishing, this is the holiday for you!!! We absolutely love this place and All its People!!! I can Highly recommend Kob Inn Hotel for anyone that loves the outdoors and wants to have a relaxing holiday!!
Relaxed vibe, wholesome food & reasonably priced activites (despite the captive market) for everyone to enjoy. Love the involvement of the broader community too. Spent 5 nights which was quite a different experience to the one night stop on the Wild Coast hike.
We were welcomed by friendly and polite receptionist and shown to our rooms, with an equally helpful and friendly Enoch that took our bags from the car. The room was so pretty and inviting with all information re facilities, whose who with the staffs names and jobs and meal times. The meals were fantastic, Daan, Violet and all the staff were friendly even the other guests were friendly. My only complaint was that the 3 nights we spent there was not enough. Thank you for a marvelous break.
