Guesthouse set in a nice garden with a lovely deck! Ideal as a stopover to other places. Room clean with patio and shower.
One can enjoy dinner as well which we did not. Breakfast simple but ok. Ideal for 1 night but not longer.

We booked a house (separate from the guesthouse but leased out by the guesthouse, since we wanted to cater dinner for ourselves) for our stay in Rosh Pinah, but on our arrival it appeared that there was a booking mix up and that the house had already been leased to other persons. However the receptionist quickly assisted us and offered us rooms in the guesthouse (the rooms are not self-catering). The guesthouse was neat and clean, but there are a lot of mosquitoes - take insect repellant. The meals were tasty!

I spent a week at Amica, staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was basic but very tasty. I just feel a bit more attention to detail is needed here. The views from my verandah over the mountains were exceptional. The viewing deck is also great as it allows you to sit up there till the sun has gone down. Very peaceful

We were on a lovely trip through Namibia. We hadn't planned to stay over in Rosh Pinah, but had to as the border to South Africa was closed when we arrived. To our absolute delight we found Amica Guesthouse. My fiancee, her sister and I stayed over and boy were we impressed.

The found was great, fascilities clean, staff friendly and rooms air conditioned with satelitte TV!

I can recommend Amica Guesthouse to anyone. What a gem in the middle of the desert. We will be back!

We stayed in Rosh Pinah in 2008. We were warmly welcomed.
The room was big and nice so was the bathroom. They have a huge pool and our son enjoyed swimming in the pool, so did we. The dinner and breakfast was outstanding. A nice stopover from the Fish River Canyon to the Richtersveld Park. The town itself is very neat and a hospital offers good service. Safe parking is provided.

We stayed at the Amica Guesthouse for one night on our was to Fish River Canyon. We didn't expect much and had read that the food was not that good, but the accommodation was fine, the service (Esme) was great and the food was excellent. We had kudu steaks - my husband loves his steak and says that it was the best kudu steak he had ever eaten. Even the road between Luderitz and Rosh Pinah was a surprise - tar all the way. We were a little worried about our choice, but we would recommend it to anyone.

Stayed here previously and enjoyed my stay thoroughly. Unfortunately this time it wasn’t as good. Had a broken door handle and they only arranged for it to be fixed when I stood in front of them while they called for a handyman. Had cockroaches in my bed and had raw bacon served for breakfast two days in a row. I hope the get back to where the were on my previous visit.

It is certainly the most beautiful place in this city; the hotel has a lot of charm and potential; the staff is not competent at the level of the service and the kitchen ... very slow and not good ..l. You have to sleep there but not necessarily eat !

The last evening of our camping trip, we decided we deserved a little comfort. What a nice surprise! Lovely desert sunset from the high deck and the staff were so helpful and friendly. There are lots of stylish touches and we felt welcome and relaxed. Big room with everything you need. The property is situated at the edge of the desert, so you still feel part of nature.

Clean, respectable, reasonably price, good food, good amenities. Staff were friendly. Loved the view of the mountains from the purpose built thatch verandah. One can sit in the lap of luxury and stare out at vast expanse of desert and mountains that start literally across the road. Amazing experience.
Only faults: Pool could do with a clean. DSTV not working in lounge. Mozzie nets would be nice.
Best place in Rosh Pinah.

How are the roads to get there, we are coming from Luederitz, would you know? Thanks in advance for your reply
Answer from ohilton576

Eesh. There is a bad dirt road that runs up fish river canyon. Avoid that if you can.
