An absolute oasis in the middle of the hottest day we experienced for the whole of 2019.

We did an overnight camping thing and experienced a most warm and friendly welcome by the hosts, Rene and Tobie. Although it was very hot, we enjoyed the camping site very much, the well maintained green lawn and outstanding ablution facilities. Clean, most of all, very practical. As regular campers, it was in a very long time since we came across camping facilities that have left such a positive impression.
Definitely a place I would recommend to stay.

What an absolute gem and what a lovely welcome. We stayed here for one night on the way to The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and we couldn't have picked a better place. Lovely room with a comfortable bed and lots of nice personal touches. There is a small kitchen area inside but a much larger kitchen outside with a table and all the crockery and cutlery you might need for self-catering. There is also a braai if you feel inclined. It's about an hours drive form the Kgalagadi and if you find the park fully booked (as it often is) this would make a superb base for day visits, in fact it is much better equipped than the accommodation in the park itself. Can't speak highly enough of this lovely place. Thank you for a perfect stay.

We stayed in the guest house. Awesome accommodation. Neat and tidy. Children stayed in a caravan which had two double beds inside and air conditioning for those of us who need their creature comforts. Contact Rene for more information regarding the area. Dune boarding, donkey cart rides, salt pans and floating in a salt water pool are just some of the attractions.

We stayed in the three-bedrooms chalet, with two bathrooms en suite. The rooms are beautifully appointed with a great deal of consideration for the comfort of the guests, evident in the welcoming bowl of fresh fruit (brought from Upington 200km away) and mebos, home-made biscuits, full containers of beverages and rusks, and an abundance of toiletries. Renè, our hostess, was charming, attentive, generous and accommodating of our requests. She went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. There is a completely equipped outside kitchen on the verandah, with a gas cooker, all the cutlery and crockery one could need and a braai area, to facilitate easy self-catering. Renè offered us braai packs for dinner, but the generous and delicious dinner she laid on, with more than enough chops and locally made wors, home-baked roosterkoek with all the accompaniments, hot vegetables, salads AND dessert, vastly exceeded our expectations. I can only rate this establishment 10 out of 10 and would recommend staying there, without hesitation.
