I have stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks. It was quiet, family run hotel in a small village, surrounded by wineards and with good connection by train to Barcelona. The dinner restaurant is very good and I definitively recommend to stop and enjoy. Especially the seafood soup and the steak are of outstanding quality. The wine selection is acceptable and deserts as well. The services of waiter Miguel is also above the mark. I had a very good experience dining in the hotel.

This is an easy hotel to find in the not too exciting town of L'Arboc, but a useful stop over for a mature couple heading towards the French border. The interior of the hotel is exceptionally well appointed. Our room was spacious with a very luxurious bathroom. We had supper at the hotel and this was good although the restaurant did not open until 9pm. Breakfast was not a lavish affair, but was more than adequate for our needs. The staff were very friendly and efficient even though they did not speak English. We enjoyed our say at Hotel Don Pelayo.

We didn't stay in the hotel but came across it whilst looking for a restaurant, the self catering apartment didn't have a list so we were wandering. . . At 11 euros, three course meal, varied from salads, to fish to steak . . all generous portions, delicious and excellent quality. Our charming waiter didn't speak English or French, but smiled and we pointed, did some theatre. . . truly a find in a small village with beautiful buildings. Don't be put off by the outside. . . inside it is clean and good quality.

We had now been the 4th time in this hotel.Clean rooms, good kitchen, garage in the underground, and situated near the N 340 in a little village-a must! Quit street near some footwide bars. Some old churches and other buildings are worth to look at. A wonderful sight in the landscape. For our little dog no problem in the room, in the dining room forbidden however, good so.
