A beautiful mini paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Super friendly and accommodation staff from the moment we made the booking. They communicated well with us and arranged a taxi from the airport. As soon as we past reception at the front we knew we were in a little paradise feet from the ocean.

My parents were in a basic room/bungalow (no AC) but the ocean breeze kept the cool each night. It had a great view and was nice and close (but not too close) to the common area.

My room/bungalow (Deluxe) was on the other side of the property with a beautiful deck an outside and little living room inside, great for hanging out when we needed a bit of alone time. Although the room had AC I barely needed it with the fan and the ocean breeze.

The rooms and the common area alike were kept spotless and the pool was naturally always warm.

Although we didn’t go into town for any reason, Lucie the property manager was available and willing to get us as taxi as needed. Lucie was also super friendly and helpful for anything we needed.

The food was delicious and made to order at every meal. The chef specials always sounds fabulous but after realizing the portion sizes we kept to some simpler meals (the portions were quite generous). The girls at the bar (Jasmine and Leslie), who also served the food, were super friendly and attentive ensuring we had what we needed.

It should stated that there isn’t much to do right at the hotel so if you need a lot of activities, you might find this one a bit far from things. For us, it was a perfect way to disconnect and unwind for a few days.

Excellent choice for a secluded getaway. Very comfortable, private, quiet and relaxed ambiance. Reasonably priced for services and a to-die-for culinary experience. Not only tasty food but also quality and variety along with very personalised great friendly service. The bar is well supplied with assorted drinks and cocktails.

Internet connectivity may be challenging at times but I must say adds up to the ambiance and experience of isolation. Nothing around the area but other cute hotels .

Nonetheless easy to get to on a 1.5hr ride pre-arranged taxi service from Tumbes airport TBP.

Seafront views are breathtaking. Ideal to relax, go for walks, do yoga or a glass of wine while listening to music or resting in the hammock

The bungalows are nice, comfy and well equipped.

All in all a 5 star relaxing getaway at a reasonable price.

wow,
What a beautiful and clean place to stay, we kind of doubt if we were going to like it, but definitely this place is hand down the best place to stay for a relaxing vacation, rooms are very well equipped, clean with a beautiful view of the ocean, at night Was the best part sleeping with just the sound of the ocean incredible.
The food is also very good fresh, ceviche it of the hook, pescado a lo macho was delicious and el arroz con mariscos was very testy.
Pool in the small / medium average but super clean and best infinity view.
We enjoy the happy hour every day , from 4-7 I love my pisco sour.
the stuff is very helpful and friendly.
We’re definitely coming bank
We’re are definitely coming back

If you want to recharge this is the place to be.
This hotel is not only beautiful, the service is excellent, food is really good and you have the beach right in front of you. You can also see one of the most beautiful sunset.
I loved that it was very personal and the staff, one of the best! I will be going back for sure!

Peru is known for its tourist attractions at high altitudes but coming back down to sea-level, Peru offers a spectacular array of beaches. Punta Sal is wedged between Tumbes and Piura off the Pan-American highway. The coast around Punta Sal is replete with calm ocean waters and sandy beaches with few people in sight.

The Yemaya Boutique Hotel finds itself on a beautiful stretch of sand far from the hustle and bustle of Mancora and the adjacent village. The hotel looks out onto the calm ocean and every so often you see the odd fisherman drag his boat out. The hotel is stunning with the rooms incorporating indigenous structural designs. They are huge, wonderfully clean and airy; each accompanied by a private balcony with a personal view to the picturesque, turquoise waters of the Pacific. It is clear to see that Jose Enrique has put his heart and soul into the hotel.

The hospitality was impeccable! I was greeted with one of the famous 'Yemaya Fresh' cocktails - a mix of Pisco, passionfruit and lemon. I received the perfect level of service; they respected my privacy but were always to hand when I needed something. All the staff were so friendly that by the time I left we had all become very good friends. I'm not surprised that couples and families return to the hotel year-upon-year. Not to mention that the food is outstanding with the freshest fish I have ever eaten.

All in all, this was the only holiday I've had where I returned to the real world truly relaxed. I can't thank Jose and his team enough! Hasta 2016!

Very well maintained grounds, very private bungalows.
We spent 3 days there and loved it, I recommend it!
Very close to banearios de Punta Sal by moto taxi (10-15min) a great beach
Wish it had WiFi to communicate with family
The beach at the hotel is very rocky so not swimmable, lots of trash washed up from the ocean onto nearby beaches, clean immediately in front of the hotel
Very close to the highway so you can hear the trucks and traffic, so get ready to get woken up by it.
Apart from the street noise and lack of WiFi it would have been an excellent location

The Yemaya is perfect for anyone looking for a few days of peace and tranquility.
The beautiful beach-front location provides access to a long golden sand beach and the waves of the Pacific.
Each of the 8 bungalows has its own private deck to gaze out over the ocean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with large bathrooms. Both the rooms and the common areas are clean and well kept.
The staff are incredibly kind, attentive and friendly - you feel there’s nothing they won’t do for their guests.
The food is simple but tasty and there is a well stocked bar where the staff mix up some great Peruvian cocktails.
I wouldn’t hesitate to go back or to recommend to anyone looking for a stay on Peru’s sunny north coast.

Review

This is a great place if you are looking for privacy and quiet relaxation. There are eight rooms at this boutique resort and our group had six of them. The service was excellent, including bringing warm milk for our daughter every night, and even specially making her some bacon she was craving. The rooms are about 20 meters from the ocean, and the entire resort is raised a couple of meters above sea level with convenient steps to walk down. The rooms are spacious, well maintained, kept very clean, and DirectTV is included. The pool is of sufficient size but is not heated. The food was very good but not great, and perhaps a bit pricey for the quality, but that is to be expected when you are a "captive audience" some distance from competing options. I've certainly had worse food for more money at similar places. However, I recommend skipping the warm water (no claws) lobster if offered as it really does not taste as good as cold water lobster. We brought our own supply of pisco and ginger ale, and the resort was happy to supply ice, so we saved some money on beverages, but we still enjoyed a few cocktails made with moderate proficiency such as Piña Coladas and Mai Tais from the bar. Free internet is available in the common area at a speed high enough for watching YouTube videos (I measured 3 Mbps), but the Wi-Fi signal does not reach the rooms.

Buenos Dias, La mejor opcion para llegar a las playas del norte, son por medio del aeropuerto de Tumbes o Talara. A Tumbes llegan las aereolineas Latam y Sky. A Talara llegan Latam y Vivaair. Tanto Vivaair y Sky son Lowcost y tienen muy buenas promociones con aviones nuevos. Ustedes podran elegir lo que mas les convenga. Buen viaje y hasta pronto. Saludos

Hello by Taxi is quite expensive I rented a car and had the possibility to drive the entire week remember it´s like 2 hours from Piura to Yemaya If you don´t want to spend much money , yo can go by a local bus agency good luck!

Hello Patrick, to reach the beautiful Yemaya hotel, my wife and me took 'Peruvian Airlines' from Lima to Piura (1,5 hours flying). It's much cheaper than LAN airlines who gets closer (Tumbes airport) and only 1,5 hours to reach with a car Yemaya in Punta Sal. From Piura airport, you have to take a taxi (or rent a car) and drive a bit more than 3 hours to reach the "Paradise lost". Mancora is also a great village nearby to visit where summer is forever there... Don't forget to swim and touch the big turtles in El Nuro (30 km far away) If you intend to visit Yemaya, please : don't forget to greet the gentle owners from me and my wife. It was so nice and quiet, believe me ! I wish you an unforgettable stay there, Rudy Lenners (from Belgium)
