We only stayed for 1 night next time minimum 2 nights. The food was excellent and the service friendly and efficient. The beach is amazing and a short scenic walk away from the lodge, must do the horse ride and sundowners on the beach

This place has one of the most beautiful locations the beach is fantastic but...... The advertisement reads as if the rooms are situated on the beach which is not true and sea views from many rooms are limited. some had only cold water..The food is very average and one would expect a better quality . The staff is good ....

We were staying in St Francis Bay and visited Oyster Bay Lodge only for the day, so cannot comment on the accommodation. However, we were warmly welcomed by Hans on arrival with a concise and clear overview of what to expect and what we could do whilst visiting, and equally by the bar and restaurant/pool staff when we entered the...

A breathtaking view on the beach. Nice and calm place far away from any village. Nice pool area and lobby with Restaurant. As a horse addict, I loved seeing the horses grasing on the property. Chalet (No2) was basically nice, however, with cheap and/or outdated furniture and with some quality issues (leaking water in toilet), the headboard of the bed...

Large, expansive beach front property with stunning dunes and beach. Absolutely gorgeous beach with no development. Oyster Bay Lodge only has 14 rooms. We stayed in the chalet which was lovely. Large with a sitting area, deck, great tub and shower although we did not have hot water every time we used the it. Great staff. We ate dinner here...

Visited the Oyster Bay Lodge for a Sunday lunch. Was a bit disappointed when i saw the lunch menu, ot was shorter than the wine list. We thought what the heck we have made the effort, we can just as well order something. My wife went for the hamburger, my daughter for the venison chiabata and I went for a...

In the midst of the dairy farms in Oyster Bay, lies Oyster Bay lodge. Gorgeous indigenous bush and grasses surround you as you do a short hike to the wide and clean beach. A short hike from Oyster Bay itself. Fantastic dunes to run up and play on. Fantastic bird life and the ever present horses are always calming to...

The cottage was beautiful, cosy and comfortable... no TV which is perfect for a romantic getaway. the walk to the beach is refreshing and the beach is stunning. Loved every second we spend there and we want to come spend more days, we unfortunately spent 1 night. This is a place you must definitely visit if you are looking for...

Disappointed a little on arrival as room a bit ordinary and certainly not on the beach. Beach is actually 17 minute walk on path through fynbos. A few hiccups with room but these were sorted in a most friendly manner. The whole place quickly grew on us and we loved it. Our weather was overcast but warm. We tackled the...

Certainly, a property tucked away in an isolated location, approached along a dirt road for 24 k which became very muddy during the heavy periods of rain that I encountered. The accommodation was clean and the majority of the staff very pleasant and helpful. However, the bar man refused to have the 6 Nations channel on the T V in...
