Really enjoyed staying here! Lovely sea view from the lounge and kitchen area. Well equipped with everything you need and the provision of tea, coffee (both instant and ground) and milk was appreciated. One should be aware that there is 20km+ of gravel roads to traverse in order to get to Oyster Bay and would definitely recommend an suv type vehicle at least. Lindy was most accommodating of our requests and we thank her sincerely!

Oyster Kaya is basic but well-equipped and clean accommodation. I loved the towels!! Unfortunately the kitchen was closed for dinner and we had to go to Oyster Bay Lodge. We were offered a Braai which was very tasty however totally over priced as was the wine. Be warned of the Road to Oyster Bay. It is very bad and should not be travelled in bad light so plan your trip accordingly. OUr hosts were very friendly

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oyster Kaya. Lindy was brilliant from when we booked, throughout our stay and even upon departure. The ocean and sunset views from the deck were spectacular and the hike along the coastal path was fabulous.

The owners Lindy and Bokkie was great hosts. Bokkies food was amazing and although it was a business trip I would go for holiday there as well. I couldn't believe how low the price was for 2 meals, drinks and accommodation.

We loved staying at Oyster Kaya at Oyster Bay. Would return there anytime. Lindy was the perfect hostess and nothing was too much trouble for her and her staff. The accommodation was perfectly clean and tidy, with plenty of room for 4 adults. The view was stunning. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oyster Kaya. Thank you Lindy and your staff.

Very spacious and neat. Perfect for a weekend away. Private but also has a homely feel. Lovely outside area to sit and enjoy a sea view. Pretty garden to look over. Would recommend Oyster Kaya. Price reasonable compared to other places in the area.

This was a five star experience with nothing to fault apart from the one night stay which means we will have to go back! Lindy and Bokkie gave us such a warm welcome and we were most impressed with the luxurious accommodation, the friendly dogs and the gourmet dinner and breakfast served.

Liked: Oyster Kaya @Oyster Bay, promised and (almost) delivered. First, on the good side - the hosts are wonderful folks and great at communicating with their guest before and during the stay. In addition, the place resembles what you see on the pictures in the best possible way - lovely sea views, great balcony, big airy windows and well-appointed interiors. Very neat and clean. Overall, great location and fantastic facilities. This part we loved. Disliked: What marred what could have been a great experience is the attitude and behaviour of a particular staff member. From the moment we arrived - I could tell that she was not happy to see us. The manner she answered me when I enquired about the reception told me all. Thankfully the owners knew how to welcome us. So, we were at home, or so we thought. We had asked that our quarters be cleaned around mid-morning. By 15:30 no one had come to clean our rooms. By the time the cleaning lady (yes, the same person that gave us a sour welcome) came to clean the rooms she and her partner just walked in - no knocking, no greetings to acknowledge us, no nothing. After checking with my travelling crew that did I see what I just saw? I went to her and in a firm and polite way told her that we do not do that in Africa. We are people. The following days she came right. Thus denying her place a perfect 10. Okay, the single ply (although good quality) toilet paper is a turn-off for me. That is why I give Oyster Kaya At Oyster Bay a score of 8 out of 10.

Annalie and myself enjoyed the break in this secluded gem. It was our first visit to Oyster Bay and we love the place. Oyster Kaya is a well equipped self catering unit where one can relax and enjoy the beautiful views. Thank you Bokkie and Lindy
