We traveled as part of a tour group (with 15 rooms) to Fishers and from the moment that we checked in to the moment that we left the staff was amazing! Rooms were clean and comfortable, with large room floorplans (there were 4 adults in our room with space to move) and the area was safe for our group. However, what stole the show for us was that the staff was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. When one of our members became sick on the trip, the hotel worked with us to move him to his own room to limit the exposure to others. As we make annual trips to this location, this is definitely on my stay again list!

The latch to lock the door was broken like someone had broken down the door previously. The floor was sticky near the bed. The shower was gross. The cabinet was falling from under the sink. I should have spent the extra $25 to stay somewhere else. They didn’t even give me a key jacket to write the room number on. The person checking me in just told me the room number verbally (which is unsafe and a standard at most hotels have not say the room number verbally). When I asked for the room number written down in like a key jacket the front desk person wrote it on a post it note. The Castelton area is nice.

Hotel was a mess. There were pallets and piles of new and used roofing materials everywhere. I’m going to repeat, piles everywhere. Front desk girl was rude and unfriendly. The hotel stunk of chemicals. Some of the people staying at the hotel looked like zombies. Read between the lines here! Avoid this hotel at all cost!

Hotel did not have a room available despite me having a reservation. Would not help me find another room and told me it was my problem. Manager was contacted and didn’t help. Had to book another hotel at last minute and it was a lot more expensive. And I was there because my mother was in the hospital and was dying. These are horrible people.

If there was any lower rating than one star, we would have picked that for the horrible service from its manager, John Webber. When we arrived at the hotel, it was as expected for the price you pay - not clean, smells bad, open drywall with insulation exposed, sewer pipes also exposed. We did not even think of using anything from the room. We used our own cups, plates, utensils, towels, etc. We picked this hotel and decided to stay even though it's dirty because we have a big dog. The stay was tolerable until the manager banged on our door one Saturday morning because we left a small bag of trash outside our door, which we noticed after 14+ days stay that everyone was doing. Housekeepers even told us to just leave stuff outside our door and they will pick them up. The manager was yelling at us without even introducing himself as the manager; he wasn't wearing anything to indicate that he is the hotel manager. Imagine having breakfast on a Saturday morning and a stranger knocks on your door yelling at you for leaving a small bag of trash outside your hotel room door. At this point, we had paid cash in advance for an entire 7 days. Very upset, we started looking for another hotel we can move to immediately. We asked for a refund and they said they couldn't give us our money back right away. They told us the amount of money we could receive but they would have to mail it to us in a money order; we were paying cash so they didn't have a mailing address for us at this point. We were not happy about that but we packed up to leave that same day. Upon checking out, nobody was at the front desk to process our refund. We left to check in at the other hotel leaving a note at the front desk that we would be back for our money. A couple of hours later (the banging on our room happened at breakfast time, it was around 4pm when we returned for our refund), it was a different lady at the front desk. I asked her to contact the manager so I could speak with him about the refund. He didn't want to speak with me and told the lady at the front desk to have me return on Tuesday. On cash payments, you don't check out and ask for a refund some days later. We felt robbed. We called the police and only then did the manager show up to properly process my cash transaction. We still don't know if we will actually receive our money back but at least we have a proper receipt and a police report to take to court if necessary. Btw, the manager also told the police that we were not allowed on the property ever again. Go figure. Later that day, we noticed bed bug bites on our bodies from staying at the hotel. We had asked for fresh linen a few days before. I guess the fresh linen wasn't fresh after all. So if you want to pay any amount for a dirty hotel that may potentially rob you and get bed bug bites too, this is the hotel for you.

The staff was very friendly and efficient when checking in and checking out. The rooms were clean. The exterior is very clean. I loved the location which was close to shopping and a lot of restaurants. Good deal.

Good price, but it wasn’t really clean. The floors had not been swept and the kitchen wasn’t wiped down. The tub had dirt. There was some sort of rocks in the dresser drawer. The coat rack had dust. Bathroom did not appear to have been wiped down.

I stay in $60 a night hotels all week and found the reviews to be accurate here. Not clean. Yellow toilet. Ugly shower. Kitchen accessories very dirty (if wanting to cook, dont go here) I'm pretty sure this room had been sitting for a while without use. Door didnt deadbolt correctly. Bedding old and worn. Floor dirty. Window was open when I walked in with ashes from cigarettes and hair from shaving. Smoke detector was beeping which I could hear from way down the hallway and just happened to be my room. Surely that was annoying for nearby folks. Checkin was kinda dull. Place is large with about 150 rooms, and old and dirty. Maybe biggest complaint was turning on the heat and it smelling so bad that I had to turn the bathroom fan on, open the window, and leave the room for a while. Only positive is location and a nice courtyard with a pond beside it.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We stayed here due to an emergency and the hotel offered a apartment style room with kitchenette. When we checked in, we unpacked everything and noticed our door was completely messed up. We also tried to get the stove to work and couldn’t. We stayed here because buying and cooking our own food would be cheaper than eating out 3 times a day. We went to Walmart and bought a lot of groceries but wasn’t able to fix them due to the issue with the stove. The gentleman working the desk actually switched us rooms and we were unable to get that stove to work either, so he switched us back to our original room, where the door was completely messed up. He knew about it and said maintenance would be by the next day to fix it, which never happened. We had spent most of our money buying our food for the few days we were there and didn’t have much money left but had to go hungry the first night and entire next day because of the stove issue. The night before we checked out, we were finally told that there is a stove switch in the kitchen and you have to turn it on before turning the stove on. The worker didn’t even know this. We spent our entire stay not being able to eat our food and no one seemed to help us. We have to leave tomorrow as we are out of money and our house isn’t ready for us to move back in yet. I’d prefer to have a refund of our stay due to this horrible issue. If we didn’t have to eat out during our entire stay and not have spent all our money doing so, we could have stayed the remaining time. I’d prefer someone getting in touch with me ASAP about this matter and possibly reimbursement or something. Thank you. charlesstrow7@gmail.com

The room was clean and quiet. The price was cheap and reasonable. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was in a very good location for food and shopping. I will come back and stay again if I am in the area.
