We have just returned from this beautiful hotel with very happy memories.
We stayed 3 nights in the John Roberts room.
It's a corner four poster bedroom on the top floor of the original house over looking the garden and river. Its a spectacular room to watch the sun setting. The room is large and boasts a large modern ensuite. All toiletries with a couple of nice extras provided. Coffee tea making available and some delicious shortbread and butlers chocolates were in our room on arrival. 2 large reading chairs by the window to relax and enjoy the view we're used frequently. Although there was a wedding reception on below us in a marquee, it was not an annoyance as the room has thick sound and thermal proof black out curtains. The room is spotless. We slept well.
Some flies were in the room.when we arrived, I'd imagine this is because of its garden location, and the windows were open to air the room before our arrival.
The Aylward room was used for lunch and afternoon tea, and the Roseville room was used for dinner and breakfast by us.
The food is exceptional....dining staff are exceptional....the dining rooms are exceptional...Bar 1923 and the mixologist are also exceptional.
My wife is Gluten intolerant and there was no issue to amend or adjust any dish from the kitchen, in fact it was so heartwarming to see how helpful breakfast, lunch and dinner staff were in suggesting alternatives for my wife to try.
I could go on. However I'll stop at this final word just to mention Pierce, Rose and Stephen from the Roseville room as the stand out memory for us.
We will definitely return soon.

Just back from a two night break in this lovely hotel situated in the countryside overlooking a beautifully manicured golf course. Tramore and Dunmore East are only a short drive away.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The bedroom while small and a little dark was very well appointed with comfortable beds, a large television and a Dyson hairdryer!

The breakfast was made to order which was a great bonus and the dinner was very good particularly on the first night.

The reason I am giving this hotel a less than excellent rating is that it seems to be primarily a wedding venue. There was a wedding on both nights we were there and the room where the celebrations are held is just off a very narrow corridor near reception and a block of bedrooms. When the wedding guests spill out the place becomes crowded and very noisey and is certainly not conducive to a relaxing get away. I would suggest that to provide an enjoyable, relaxing experience and a good night's sleep for non wedding guests the wedding venue should be moved to a different location.

Dear Mjcdub, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay. I am so happy to read you had such a positive experience. I would like to offer my sincerest apologies for the issues with regards noise, while we do have a dedicated arrival area for wedding guests they can from time to time spill out into other areas but we do work hard to keep a relaxing atmosphere for all guests in the hotel. I'll certainly take your points on board and I look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Regards, Chris Boland Deputy General Manager

I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience during my stay at Faithlegg House over the Christmas period, from December 29th to the 31st. It was a two-night stay with a dinner and wine package, and I must say, it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we stepped into Faithlegg House, we felt an immediate sense of warmth and relaxation. The staff's hospitality was unparalleled; they were attentive without being intrusive, making our stay exceptionally pleasant. I would like to extend a special thank you to Matt, Aisling, Catherine, and Chris, the deputy General Manager, for their outstanding service. Their dedication to making our stay comfortable was evident and much appreciated. The atmosphere throughout the house was wonderfully relaxed and inviting. Our bedrooms were beautifully decorated, featuring the fluffiest pillows and the most comfortable mattresses we have ever experienced – everything was spotlessly clean. The cocktail bar was a delightful surprise, exuding a funky yet tasteful charm that added to the overall ambiance. Dining at Faithlegg was an absolute treat. We chose from the A la Carte menu, and the selection was fantastic, with each dish surpassing the last in taste and presentation. Breakfast was equally impressive, and I have to emphasize how much I enjoyed the sourdough bread with avocado and poached egg – it was simply to die for. The leisure center and spa were the perfect places to unwind after a long walk on the local beach. The facilities were relaxing and well-maintained, adding another layer of enjoyment to our stay. We will most certainly be returning to Faithlegg House in the future. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making our stay so fantastic. While I have mentioned a few names who stood out, please know that every staff member we encountered was extremely helpful and eager to make our stay memorable.

We have stayed here on numerous occasions, the food has always been excellent along with the service from the staff. The rooms are well presented with tea and coffee making facilities, located just outside Waterford with pool, hydro therapy and treatment rooms. A great place to stay.

We booked for 2 nights after a very busy Christmas - 2 nights and 2 dinners. From the moment we arrived until the time we checked out our experience was way above our expectations. The public areas ooze character and are decorated beautifully. Our bedroom accommodation in the new wing was done sympathetically with the character of the original old building. The standard of bed linen, robes etc was first class. Our dinner on both nights were superbly cooked and presented to the highest standard with excellent and varied choice. Breakfast was cooked freshly and served to table as opposed to the standard buffet rush was a delight.

Finally what capped it all was the staff. The friendly service of everyone from front desk, bar staff, waiters etc was superb and genuine.

The overall value for money for a fabulous couple of days was more than reasonable. I would highly recommend Fairhlegg.

*This was for a wedding which was kept personal and intimate so I do not have pictures to share*

On arrival to the Faithlegg grounds, we were met by a simply stunning entryway that built up our hopes for a wonderful day and night away together. We were not disappointed. Once the hotel came into view it was jaw dropping. A beautiful venue for a wedding, for a romantic getaway, for golfers, for some relaxation and even just for dinner and drinks. The car park is very well designed and includes numerous charging bays for Electric vehicles.

While checking in we were welcomed with a delicious juice that is made in house. The staff couldn't do enough for us from the get go.

The hotel interior is stunning and the lighting is a soft glow that really does give a relaxing and romantic feeling. Couple that with a constant pleasant fragrance throughout the reception area and hallways and you really will feel at ease.

The dining options are fantastic and the quality of the food is at the very top. Again the staff couldn't do more when it came to all aspects of service and courtesy. The same goes for the bar and bar staff. A wonderful selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Both food and drinks very reasonably priced.

The room we stayed in was very well equipped amenity wise and the level of comfort was immense. Cleanliness was 5 star level across the board.

Breakfast was perfect and a really nice touch to cap off our stay. It was A La Carte with a fantastic selection and the most prompt table service and the room had just the most amazing decor.

Checkout was also very pleasant with staff again showing great politeness and smiles all round to the point my wife and I were discussing when to go back for a weekend before we had even gotten to the car.

For those looking to stay, you won't regret it, and for those looking into places to host a wedding, visit here and you will likely be leaving having found the perfect venue for your big day.

Definitely worth visiting.

Lovely wedding venue. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Check out different booking apps as prices and offers vary significantly. Room was clean but very warm and no top sheet on the bed and duvet was heavy so a bit uncomfortable to sleep plus if you have a room with 3/4 people you only get 1 key which can be inconvenient.

We stayed for a friends wedding at the end of December.
The hotel & grounds were very impressive as we arrived and as we entered the hotel we were equally impressed.
We were checked in quickly & shown to our room which was very nice.
The wedding kicked off on time & the reception was one of the best that we have ever been at.
We both went with the fish option as did most of our table (all were very happy).
The following morning we went for breakfast & were looked after by Jane who got us seated & fed with great efficiency given that we were one of the last people down & the restaurant was quite full (thank you Jane).
Afterwards we went for a walk (the Minuan walk) & stumbled on the newly reopened Suir inn, so we went in for a nice drink & a laugh with the locals.
On return to the hotel we met up with some friends at the golf club on the grounds.
I had the fish & chips & my wife had the curry (both excellent& great value), we were served by a very nice young man called Liam & who explained the menu very well as my wife has a food allergy.
Hats off to Faithlegg & keep up doing what you are doing.
