Special DB&B rate was enticing enough for us to treat ourselves for a night. The house is beautifully decorated, individual rooms with a spacious (yet cosy) feel. Huge snuggly bed, massive free standing roll top bath to relax in, lovely little touches like bath salts and

We stayed here just before the Bank Holiday and I can honestly say it was perfect from start to finish. My husband booked it as a surprise night away and from the minute we arrived we were enveloped in a sense of relaxed, friendly, professional calm. We stayed in a cottage

You will definitely need a car to get around this area unless you plan to do very long walks from beach to beach. The hotel is not near a beach or a town. It is extremely unlikely that there will be anything like Uber but normal taxis can be arranged but will be quite expensive.

Yes, we do have certain rooms that we allow well behaved dogs to stay in. They are also welcome in the grounds and on the terraces but not in the restaurant. If you wish to stay with a dog, please book direct via phone or email so we can ensure we have availability in the dog friendly rooms. We look forward to welcoming you to the Grove.

I would agree with Sarah from Cardiff about facilities for children. There are lovely grounds which in the summer would be great for little ones to run around in, but I'm not sure about the hotel itself. As Sarah said, just ring and ask - they're absolutely delightful and will be able to help.
