Cons: Website and all signs at the property say it was non smoking. I'm not sure how long that policy had been in effect. My room had a strong smell of cigarettes. Walls and bed skirt needed some cleaning. While putting my item in the fridge, I found old food. Maybe check list for cleaning is needed.
Overall, I slept well and the location was 4 minutes from the family I had traveled to visit. 😊
Hotel is in need of repair. Refrigerator seal torn and dirty.
Hotel charges $50 hold against damages, which they say may take "weeks, or several statements" to get refunded to credit card.
General cleanliness not good, surfaces have been wiped, but accumulation of dirt in crevices, tile grout and corners. Needs a deep clean. Wallpaper peeling on edges, paint nicked and worn.
Was not able to get $72 rate advertised on line. Was billed $94. Would have cancelled and gotten different hotel, but too tired after long day.
Laura at front desk was nice, and did best she could. Karen was nice in taking reservation.
We won't be staying again.
The rooms are so outdated, it's not even funny. The rank, funky smell that slaps you across the face when you walk into your room is off-putting and offensive. Everything is dirty, stained, rusted. The windows are so crusted in dirt and/or mould and the screen is bent and misshapen. The bathroom drains take forever to drain. The dark furniture looks like its all been sprayed with mud that has since dried on. Speaking of "dried on", there was dried on urine on the toilet seat. How welcoming! I was sitting on the bed and something was poking me. I realized it was something under the fitted sheet. I checked it out and it was food crumbs! Like, WTAF? The TV is small. Another outdated thing about the room. We opened the fridge and were welcomed by yet another foul smell. The free hot breakfast was sausages, scrambled eggs, biscuits and country gravy. The pancake machine was broken which was very disappointing! This place needs a major overhaul or they need to lower the prices. We did not get what we paid for here. Not at all! Seriously, stay somewhere else! I implore you!
I booked a room for my wife, granddaughter and myself at this hotel for October 8 and 9 , 2021 to attend an event in the area . This property could very easily appear as a crack motel on an edition of Live PD or Cops. The exterior grounds were completely littered with trash, even bags of trash. If help is hard to find, the owner should take it upon himself to keep the grounds clean.
Our room smelled of mildew, mold and urine. This is not any fault of the housekeeping personnel. They were doing as good a job as possible with the situation they are being handled. The walls and ceiling are covered in mold and black mildew as was the bathtub. We paid $25.00 a night for our dog to stay with us, and I would not let him sleep on the floor, it was so stained and dirty. This was the most disgusting Choice Hotel I have ever stayed in and I stayed in many of them during my career. I left the hotel after the first night to find someplace clean to stay. The management there could have cared less. I do not recommend wasting your time or money on this dump
I was up here from Boise because my job needed me to help at our office in Post Falls and this is where they booked me for 11 days.
I am so glad they did!!
Check in was so easy and quick. Karen took time to explain everything to me that was currently being offered with Covid restrictions still in place, I really appreciated that info.
My room was exactly as pictured on the website, King room with AC, mini fridge, TV, microwave, coffee maker. Bathroom was stocked with everything I needed.
Breakfast was great, I got to choose from cheese omelets or jimmy dean sandwiches. Two kinds of granola bars or a blueberry muffin, multiple flavors of yogurts, boiled eggs, fruit cups. Coffee, OJ or apple juice. And of course fresh apples. More than enough for a good breakfast.
Housekeeping came every time I requested. When I found the chair I my room was broken, Tim got it replaced right away.
The best thing? Being greeted by name every morning when I came down. It’s rare people try to remember guests names, and this made me feel valued as a guest while I was there.
Definitely staying here next time I come up!
