Sept 2021 - Manager Dave, very nice. Cabin is where we stayed and he was really helpful when the bike trip on the Coeur D' Arlene trail went awry and had to come back earlier then expected. The Cabin had a microwave, fridge, a bunk bed, sofa couch, table, chairs, front covered porch and BBQ grill. Showers and restrooms 50 feet away. These could be a bit cleaner but you can't been the friendliness of the site managers and how they will go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of.

We spent the summer there. Beautiful setting, nice, clean, large spaces, great rates, clean, well maintained facilities, and the hosts, and Dave and Bonnie are great. Close to the north fork of the Coeur d Alene River and Silver Mountain ski resort. 4 wheeling and fishing are two popular attractions.

By The Way Campground has 11 RV sites and a few tent sites. The sites are water and electric only, but there is a dump station on site. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The showers and restrooms are cleaner than most we've seen. The park is small, but has everything a traveler could need. We would definitely stay here again.

The owners/managers are so very hospitable. Pleasant to deal w on phone during booking and very nice in person. For a camping experience, the bathrooms were exceptional! Privacy, hot showers, flushing toilets, mirrors... this is why I’m giving it stars at all.
The tent camping area is very, very small. We had guests flanking both sides of us (4/6 of the campsites were being used for the night) and it felt cramped. The grounds are adjacent to the freeway on-ramp separated by a chain link fence. To say the interstate’s traffic noise was loud is an understatement; I’m not sure if the reviewer who left “noise is not a problem” slept inside an RV or was deaf, but noise was definitely a problem for us! We all slept with earplugs in and I was only able to get about 3 hours of shuteye.
Maybe the area is fine for RVing, but we will not be returning. Also, we ran over a nail in their parking lot and were stuck there until the next morning when we could get to a tire shop; we may have just driven home for the night otherwise.

The site had water and power which is all I needed for the two night I stayed there and then used the dump station the morning I left. Showers, washrooms and laundry super clean. Right on the Trail of the Couer d'Alenes for excellent bicyling to the top of Mullen Pass, 25 mile each way with 1200 vertical.

I booked this place months in advance And received my email confirmation and confirmation number. Months later and just a week before my scheduled trip the guy calls me and says that he made a mistake and my spot was already booked. I don't believe such a mistake is possible the absolute simplest booking paperwork is a calendar, most businesses use something even more sophisticated than that and it's impossible to make a mistake on any of those things. Even if a mistake is made the system won't generate a booking number. This ruin so many of my plans, I had time off work, other bookings for different nights of my trip And other people relying on me. I can't believe the guy waited this long and to top it all off he never even offered to do anything for me. Just for the sake of customer service he should have took the time to find another Room for me or at least ask if he could do that on this extremely busy weekend. Now I'm screwed because of his incompetence he didn't offer me anything

A small RV park very conveniently located on I-90 east bound. Although very close to interstate and on & off ramps, highway noise was not an issue.
Park and facilities were all clean.
The owner/managers are very accommodating. We would stay again if their pull through sites (2 or 3 in total) were available to handle our motorhome and attached vehicle.
