Hello Belvona! I apologize it's taken so long to respond. I've taken over reservations as of a month or so ago so I'm catching us up. Thank you for wishing us luck! We are very passionate about this property. There is so much potential here. We've done a ton of updates. Our Kitchen has a new grill and oven, prep table and and an extra fryer. We've built an official reservation desk. We have a game room with a ping pong table, pool table and board games. The River Bar was really cleaned up and we're in the process of opening that up to the public. As of Wednesday, we'll be building a new porch for our restrooms and showers!! There are so many projects.. Thank you again. We look forward to seeing you soon :) When you stop in next let us know what you think.

Our RV spot had a nice view of the river. The campfire rings along the river were fabulous. It was wonderful to float the river and then get out where our RV was parked. Amy and her daughter, the new owners, are friendly, delightful, and hard workers. It was nice to walk over to the restaurant to have a home cooked meal. We had fun playing ping pong in the game room. My son had recommended this place to us, and we enjoyed our stay, and if we are camping in this area again, we will stay here.

We enjoy riding our bikes on the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes. County Lane Resort was close to a variety of trail heads. We stayed in the honeymoon suite. A comfy king bed and private bath. Quiet and offered a relaxing deck! A short walk to the river that offers fishing, floating and swimming! The restaurant on site had home cooked meals that were awesome! Fresh and tasty. The hours for the restaurant are early to late! Best hours of any place within 20 miles. The new owners are working to make many improvements, but I found our stay delightful! Lots of RV parking. I would call this a rustic resort and a great place to stay. Staff are friendly and caring! We will return!

I have visited the Country Lane River resort quite a few times sense they have been under new ownership and I am more and more impressed with every visit! The upgrades they have been making to the resort are spectacular. They have really turned this place around. I am happy to say that I booked this resort as my wedding venue as well! We will be back soon!

The new owners are cleaning up the restaurant/bar area and some of the landscaping is looking better...but sadly we were told a space that our camper has fit in beautifully for two years, now no longer fits in that space. Our two axle camper is now all of the sudden too large for this space. (Please note, that at this time 5/10/19, no site changes our camping spaces have been moved our changed since the new owners have taken over.) We were moved to a back site off of the river, by a mosquito breeding ground area (a marshy swampy area). After being in this spot for about 2 hours, another camper pulls in and said they were also assigned this same space we were just moved to. (They went and talked to the owner/manager and they were told ’go pick a different space and come back and tell us which one you chose’).
This is Mother’s Day Weekend, so the summer camping season has not even really started yet. We reserved our spot in January, and had already paid for two nights. About a month ago, we found out we were not going to be able to make our week reservation the week before Memorial Day and we needed to change it and we were going to break it up into 2 and 3 night stays and our plan was for another week later in the summer. We were told it would be no problem and we could still have the original space we requested as long as it was available. But yet, Friday, 5/10 when we checked in..this all changed.
On Saturday afternoon, a 3 axle camper pulls into a space that we were told our 2 axle camper was too large for! (There are 4 nice spaces that put you almost on the water...we just requested one of these spots, but we're told our camper is too large) The campground was NOT full and at least 10 to 15 spaces were still available! How this one fit and ours did not, is unexplainable to us. Needless to say...they have lost our business.

I apologize it's taken us so long to respond. I've taken over our reservations as of a month or so ago so I'm getting us organized and caught us up. We are so sorry to hear about your experience here. That definitely was not the way we intended on starting out our relationship. New ownership is never easy so I apologize if things seems confusing for you around here. You're speaking of space #R1. We completely understand for the way you feel about the situation. I'd love to clarify this situation for you. We have changed site #R1 to a 34ft space instead of 50ft only because those larger RVs would take up so much of the view when they parked sideways like they did. Those larger rigs would also take up the other side of the tree when that section is not part of that space. We have it so that the RVs need to park like parallel to the tree just like spaces #R2 - #R4, instead of like horizontal in front of that tree. The reason you saw a large RV in that space was probably because they said a different RV length and snuck in through the cracks. Also, I have a few regulars that were used to driving down before us and just picking a space, but now I have them check in with us first because of the confusion. What's nice is that the longer we're here we get to keep brainstorming what will work for the future. I know you don't want to hear this, but that space did work out very well making the max 34ft so that will stay the same, but I really do wish you'd reconsider staying with us again. We have done a ton of updates in all directions that everyone's been happy with. We created a game room, built a reservation desk, updated our gift shop, upgraded our side by side for floaters and maintenance, purchased new kitchen equipment, etc. We really are doing what we can around here to make it enjoyable for everyone so I am sad to hear you didn't have fun. Truly was not our intention. Hopefully we'll meet in the future and start over.

This was a great place for exploring the area around Kellogg. Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to explore. We had great breakfast each day, good hospitality and even met some local patrons who were also helpful. We plan on returning in the summer to take advantage of the river activities.
