Our stay here was outstanding, there is a lot of attention to detail in the yellow cottage and the landscaping.

This location is good for anything you might want to do in the area i.e. hiking, biking, riding quads, skiing snowmobiling.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to stay!

We stayed in the Loft apartment which was very nicely decorated. Breakfast was very nice, featuring the hosts' pastries (they previously owned a bakery in Arizona). The stay was very pleasant. The only glitch occurred when we didn't have hot water in the morning. The owners found the problem and fixed it almost immediately.

We were cycling the Trail of the Coeur D'Alene and the B & B was located only about two blocks from the trail. Our Hosts were bicycle friendly and allowed us to keep our bikes in the room

We stayed at the La Maison sur le Hill for a portion of a tandem bike tour along the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes. This is a very nice garden-like property and is well cared for. The rooms are nicely done and were clean. We stayed in the loft, which is above the garage. This loft is actually a large rectangular shaped room -- it was roomier than I expected.

When we arrived, Alex and Susan offered us cheese and grapes - a nice touch. We spent a fair amount of time just chatting with our hosts as they are both very personable.

Breakfast was very good and definitely worth planning for in the morning.

Our one regret is that we didn't stay in THIS B&B longer. We had reservations for another B&B in Mullen at the end of the trail. The Mullen B&B was a poor experience and we kept thinking how much we wished we could just check out and go running (biking) back to Kellogg and check back in to the La Maison.

On a side note, we really enjoyed the Moose Creek Grill for dinner. This place is two doors down from the B&B.

If we ever ride this trail again, this B&B will be THE base camp for as much of the trail as we can. There is limited lodging along the trail, and this B&B was easily the best of all the options we saw.

We loved our stay at La Maison sur le Hill. The hosts have put a lot of thought into their B & B. Classy and charming, we enjoyed the wine & cheese plate upon arrival and the fantastic breakfast each morning. We will definitely return in the future. Thanks so much! Dave & Cathy

The property manager, Danylle, ensured our family's overnight stay was comfortable and successful. The grounds are AMAZING! We wish we had more time - the town of Kellogg and the surrounding area offer a lot of interesting things for tourists to do.

We stayed at la Maison sur le Hill on our way to Glacier Park and we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome of the hosts Alex and Susan and we immediately felt at home.
Furthermore the B &B is as beautiful in reality as it is in the pictures on the website.
We had a excellent diner at a local restaurant, next door, recommended by the hosts and we enjoyed the breakfast the next morning.
We will certainly come back

This is a real gem in the Silver Valley. The inn consists of a number of individual suites and they are lovely, well-furnished and comfortable. Right in the heart of downtown Kellogg, it's easily the nicest place to stay in the area. The innkeepers are personable and friendly and truly welcome their guests. Five stars all around!

Absolutely one of the best places we have stayed . We arrived late evening and they were very accommodating and super sweet. The grounds a beautiful and peaceful and they had a wine and cheese plate waiting for us. So worth the money. Thank you for a beautiful evening of reconnecting and relaxing in advance. We will send everyone we know of coming here your way here. If you are looking for a place to have a wedding this is the place.

Very well maintained property, rooms, aesthetically appealing decor. The hosts were very pleasant, nice conversationalists. We had a basement room with king-size bed. The king-size bed was the driving force in reserving this room. The room was beautifully decorated. However, the view was not great from the basement room and the internet connection was weak and sketchy.

Arrival afternoon snack of cheese, fruit plate and wine was excellent and fun!

The breakfast was excellent highlighted by warm, delicious homemade scones and tasty yogurt. The coffee could have been stronger, more bold. The hosts were gracious and conversant.

Next time, we will try one of their other rooms on the ground level.
