Make sure you call ahead to get a bottom floor room, or you will be shlepping your suitcases up the steps.

Hotel is dated. I had my AC turned all the way on cold, but I was still hot when trying to sleep. The AC was so noisy that I had to turn up the TV volume really high just to hear it.

Bed was not as comfortable as the 5 other hotels I stayed on the trip. The bathroom was clean.

The internet worked fine when I was there. The hot tub and pool is open 24 hours which is really nice. There was a refrigerator in the room.

The breakfast was very minimal. See my photo for the world’s smallest yogurt portions. There is a coffee shop in town with great breakfast bagels which is a much better option.

The hotel has bike storage and a bike wash. The paved bike trail is right behind the hotel. The gondola runs over the hotel parking lot. I walked to Radio Brewpub for dinner. Highly recommend for a visit so you can see the collection of old radios (and a gold cash register).

Kellog (and Wallace) are modern day ghost towns. The majority of businesses are closed in both towns. Hotel options are extremely limited. If you find an open restaurant, expect it to be short staffed.

Location was great and rooms was clean, no complaints there, but room was extremely small and very cramped. Typical contential breakfast, dry muffins. The cost of the room was outlandish and the only reason we stayed is because they are pet friendly but of course our pet was charged for staying......Due to the fact we were there to get a new vehicle from Dave Smith Auto the hotel did give us a 30% discount for this however even with the discount the room was $175.80 a night!......15.00 pet fee. ! The TV had no signal Happy we only had to stay 1 night.

The lodging was clean, staff friendly, and price decent. The issue I have is that I specifically asked for a quiet room. When my room was assigned, I asked, “is this a quiet room” to which the manager responded “yes, she believed so.”

The room I was assigned was adjacent to the ice, vending and washing machines. It was anything but quiet. I am a light sleeper, so it was difficult falling back asleep when someone used the ice machine at weird hours. It was probably the most noisy room in the hotel, anything but what I requested, or what the front desk inferred said... Hence the three star review.

Three 60-70 yr old women. Given a room on the second floor with no elevator. Asked if “that would be a problem?” Yes—moved to a first floor room. Ice machine no out floor broken, had to walk stairs for ice. Two queen beds, each bed was too close to the wall and unable to enter beds against walls. Yogurt was pre packaged in little plastic containers from a large yogurt container. Not sanitary, especially with a pandemic still brewing. No employee (housekeeping, front desk) wore a mask.

Save your $200 and move on. This hotel is dated, overpriced and the noise level was unbearable. No management that shows ANY concern for their guests. The room above us stomped around ALL night, the entrance door slammed constantly, you could hear showers from three rooms down., no working ice machine on the first floor, not even near the lobby, so upstairs is only available ice., the heater comes off and on every 10 minutes and was noisy, but we had the television up so loud to muffle the hallway noise. The beds are wore out and wobbled with every move., staff had no masks on., barking dogs, kids unattended in the room next to us. For travelers, that are NOT there to ski, it is definitely NOT worth even $100, let alone $200.
2 stars ONLY because it was clean.

This was a really terrible stay. The room was falling apart, internet was unavailable and noise levels in the night go unchecked by the hotel so no way a restful sleep can happen. The manager at checkout was abrasive and hostile and managed to turn what was intended as constructive feedback for the gm into a shouting match at the front desk. Plenty of options in the area, sometimes you lose on trying something new. I'd suggest not making the same mistake I did on this one.

The room was great. The only complaint I have is that the internet did not work. None of the people in my party could connect so I'm guessing the internet speed is really slow. Staff super nice and breakfast area nice.

Right across the street from the Gondola's and Kellogg is beautiful. Hotel was well maintained, pool and hot tub were nice. Beds wore comfy. Only complaint was that our fridge/coffee pot/microwave didn't work, but having said that, I also didn't complain to staff about it while we were there.

Cute little place nestled in the hillside. Perfect location for skiers and cyclists. Gondola is right outside the door and a indoor water slide park is right across the street! Will definitely return. Lisa at the front desk was beyond helpful. She made us feel right at home! ♥️

We had planned a getaway for our small family now I wish I had stayed home! Checking in was horrible, the food was a joke and the eating area was filthy. Dont try having a conversation, everyone there is more intent on talking to each other in the manager's office and ignoring anyone else. Or you might get a rude what then rolled eyes? I never expect Idaho to be so mean. Not worth the $55 we could have paid on the other side of town.
