Staying for 2 nights to explore the Drumbeg Loop, we enjoyed our stay with Fiona & Richard. With only 5 or 6 rooms it made for a very relaxed atmosphere and stay. Richard was 'front of house', always on hand to answer questions, give advise and serve drinks. Pre ordering the evening food after we had arrived, the view from our table was only surpassed by the excellent food that Fiona produced for us. Surrounded by wildlife with the added bonus of the visitors to the bird feeding station made for a relaxing afternoon enjoying our drinks on the patio area. The bird visits of the Lesser Redpoll was a first for us. The only negative was that we should have stayed for three days. Thanks Fiona & Richard we had a great stay.

Cosy, good basic hotel , food was freshly cooked, all tasty and well executed, happy to give order for food on arrival to hotel in the late afternoon , as meant little waiting once seated. Good view from restaurant. Nice breakfast. Our room was compact and comfy , although the shower didn’t work efficiently changing from cold to scalding several times, almost unsafe! COVID restrictions well adhered to ensuring a feeling of safety. Plenty of safe parking.

Thank you Fiona and Richard for a wonderful stay. We had a lovely funny, delicious night staying at your hotel. Fiona, your food was delicious and Richard is a brilliant funny and entertaining host. You'll be pleased to know we survived the blind summit. Thank you both very much. xx

Conveniently located on the wee mad road, we had a great stop here on our NC500 tour with good COVID regime, a really enjoyable home cooked meal as well a very hospitable host. The room was fine and this is a great Highland Hotel with charm and the added attraction of a good bar (when conditions allow). It was also great to have a welcome from Albert the wild stag. A rare privilege and opportunity.
