A couple of friends and I booked one night stay at The Ranch and we had a blast! Chalets are a little small but sufficient space to stretch and move around, walls are not sound proof, just saying! Anyway we had a great time. They have a bar, beautiful garden and swimming pool and friendly staff. Can't wait to go during summer time and this is the perfect overnight accommodation/ couple retreat on our case!

Positives: Cheap and friendly welcoming. Negatives: Extremely dirty. The shower was so dirty we showered with flip-flops. The shower head was so rusty that the water only sprayed on the sides. Room and cushions smelled like cigarets. No door handle and tv did not work. The bedding had some weird wet spots. It was worse than a dirty backpackers. Recommendation: The money is not worth it even though it’s cheap. No idea how people with self respect can charge for a room so appalling.

Arrived after dark, as it was an unintended stopover. Staff happily accepted us, we were camping so did not see the chalets, although they look good from the outside. Basic but ok facilities, very convenient location, good for a nights rest.

The Ranch was the perfect place to stay while working in Lohathla for a week recently. The chalets offer enough space to work and stretch a bit. The camp is tidy, clean and displayed lots of care and love. It is a pity that you can hear the road traffic from the room. Fortunately it is not a very busy road. The Kalahari is beautiful and I enjoyed my stay. Thanks to the owners.
