No where near worth the $515 I paid for a 2 night stay. What the heck are they thinking?! Firstly, I’d like to recognize the warm welcome of the lady at the front desk. She was very kind and responsive to our questions and concerns when checking in. Honestly, she may have been the only redeeming quality of this place. To start, we checked in and immediately noticed black mold growing in the bathroom. I took photos. It was shockingly EVERYWHERE. Major concern right off the bat, especially being pregnant. Fortunately they were able to move us to another room before we settled in. The next room we checked into was just as dingy, if not worse. A cockroach ON THE BED! Dusty bed linens with old stains. Half-assed made bed. Jenky repair jobs all over the room instead of just replacing broken items. Sticky carpeting? Ugh. We noticed the majority of the other hotel guests seemed to be a bar crowd with the place smelling like booze and cigarettes everywhere. Maybe this hotel is used to people being too drunk to notice details but when you’re pregnant, these smells just become assaulting. Never again. Would not recommend.

I don't understand how this "hotel" has the Wyndham name. First, it's a motel with the doors open to the outside to the parking lot. The room was ok but very outdated. The "breakfast" was about as poor as any I have seen in my travels. The pool was occupied by sketchy looking people who didn't appear to be guests, rather looked like friends and relatives of staff. There were picnic tables under some trees on the property and it looked like those same sketchy folks were having a party there. I saw one of the staff sitting at one of the tables smoking with them. The night staff was not very friendly either. IF I ever return to Helen I'm steering clear of this place!!! The city needs to look at this establishment before it creates any more ill will toward the town.

Dont let the pictures fool you as they did me. This place is bot what your looking for or expecting. Numerous broken items including room door handle, shower, bed, etc. cleanliness was also a issue we had with old towels in the bathroom left for our use.

Horribly run down. Unfriendly staff. Doesn’t come close to matching pictures. Pool was dirty and not open. Dirty towels. Management clearly doesn’t care about anything. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Would not recommend at all.

The carpet in the room was filthy, as was the entire room. Would not walk around with bare feet in the room. Property was in general disrepair and pool was not in service. upon check in the staff was extremely rude and dismissive.
