Just returned from a 3 day trip to Dahlonega over Spring Break and stayed for the first time at Forrest Hills Resort. Took a chance after reading some of the reviews. I cannot say enough on how surprised and pleased we were with everything. The rate for 3 nights was

We came back again this year, after falling in love with this place on our anniversary visit last year. It is so relaxing, quiet, and secluded while being close to everything. We stayed in the Wilderness room 1 this year. Loved the feel and beautiful view that the room

We recently spent a great weekend at Forrest Hills. The cabin was super clean, the bed was great, the decor was just right, and their food was amazing. On the first evening, due to a storm, the power was out for 5 hours. The kitchen had completed preparations for the buffet

The pool is average size but clean. It was a nice place if you want to get away for a few days

I am so sorry, but I am not sure which would be better, the Romance or the Cupid. We stayed in the Wren's Nest, a two bedroom fully equipped cabin. Our hot tub was in a separate room, but it wouldn't have been a problem of we had brought suits with us. We were on a motorcycle. As to the fireplace, we were glad ours was gas as it rained all day on Saturday and the wood would have been soaked. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

What is the weather here like in July?
It varies, but can be hot but it's the perfect time to explore nearby waterfalls and enjoy canoeing or kayaking.

We appreciate all of the answers given by our previous guests! The breakfast is the same for all couples. Outside of the differences you already mentioned, it's really a style difference. One is more "rustic" looking than the other. Rates are often the same for both.

Small dogs are permitted in only a select few private cabins. They are not permitted in any of our rooms or lodges.
