When you first come in, you can tell it’s a RV camp, but around the pond and down a hill there are tent sites and TWO new yurts. Well, after seeing the yurt and knowing rain was going to come, we checked to see if a yurt was available, IT WAS!! So we celebrated my birthday a little more upscale. They were so sweet and left a nice little hoping I have a great birthday. It’s perfectly located between Helen and Dahlonega, both take about a half Hour to get to. They have very clean bathrooms, never saw another camper in it besides us....maybe they just use the RV?? Anyway, nice pond with a fountain, ducks and the sound of nature outside at night with some cars passing by on the road. They have a quaint store, arcade and laundry facilities.

After spending four days here, my kids didn’t want to leave. Jenny’s is an older campground that is family run and seems to be making improvements daily. There’s a new playground that my kids adored and a creek where they explored and collected rocks. The laundromat is cute and clean and an arcade with free air hockey, a pool table and ping pong kept my kids busy in the evenings. We appreciated the kindness and helpfulness showed by Joyce and her staff. It’s less then 10 minutes from Helen and five minutes from grocery stores in Cleveland. Only negative is the muddy pond. It was an eyesore and not inviting for fishing, but not the owner’s fault as they can’t help the rain! I took a few pics to post because when I originally booked, I wanted to know what it looked like but couldn’t find any pics online. Enjoy!

I decided to go camping with my dog very last minute, and found this campground with open tent sites available. I usually camp in the state parks but everything was booked. I am glad I found this place! The tent sites are along this little creek. I listened to the water trickle at night was very peaceful. I was traveling alone, and had no worries about safety at night at all. The sites are a little closer than I usually stay elsewhere, but traveling by myself I actually preferred it, but felt I had enough space. The location of the campground is so ideal! Right in the center of great state parks!!! I went to Vogel SP, Unicoi SP, and Amicolla Falls SP all in the 2 days I was there. In fact, I liked not being in one state park, rather in the middle of 3 of them! The staff here is wonderful, and having wifi has its perks... even just to plan out your days of hiking. I will come back here again for sure...

Jenny’s Creek saved the day! We had a spot at a near by state park which fell thru due to some water main issues. Joyce gladly took us in (very last minute and late in the evening!) We loved our site #45. It was spacious and clean. We had the creek right behind us which our dog enjoyed playing in. We also had a perfect spot for our cornhole boards. Enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit every night. Lots of nearby trails. We hiked the loop at Smithgall and took a drive on Richard B Russell Hwy which has amazing scenic views!! The bathhouse is updated and very clean. There is a nice laundry room as well. Joyce and family was super friendly and made us feel so welcomed. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to go back soon!

Great relaxing weekend in our camper at Jenny's Creek. Full hook ups, clean bathhouse, friendly, and pet friendly! Great for couples or family's. Close to Helen in the north Georgia mountains! The fountain in the lake is so relaxing to listen to.
