We booked for 5 nights in December. Where do I start. Arrived in room, no towels, no plates, cutlery, pots, cupboards and linen nowhere. Finally got towels and the necessities delivered, had a shower and completely flooded the bathroom as the shower drain was blocked. Asked them to come fix it, and someone came the next morning but when they left, next shower same thing, blocked. Asked each day for shower to be unblocked, but they ignored our request. Doors on wardrobe did not close properly, which wasn't a big thing, but it meant that the light was on during the night and we couldn't disconnect it. Had to get that fixed, along with the sink that was blocked as well. Only one couch but we were in a suite with 3 people, so if we wanted to watch tv had to use a dining chair as well. Breakfast catered for Asians which was great, but very little choice in a western menu. Coffee machine worked first day, and after that an out of order sign on it for the rest of our stay. Only positive about our whole stay was the internet. That was good, other than that, I would not recommend this place in any way, and wish we had stayed at the other new hotel just down the road. Room was not cleaned properly and there were candy papers still sitting on the sofa when we arrived. We paid over 1.300.000 a night for an extremely substandard property.…
Never come again this hotel if you want to spoil your holiday. Lift access have problem and no towel inside the room. When request it take few hours to deliver the towel. Somemore is not dry out. Really disappointed.
Spacious room with amenities, except face towels and kitchen amenities (though there were a couple of plates provided). Everything was in working order and the place felt quiet and safe. Breakfast was adequate at about USD7.50 per head, and the location is about a 10-minute drive from Batam Centre, next to Panbil industrial business park. One odd thing- remember to manually lock the door with the room key upon exit- it is not the usual auto-lock hotel door. Spa facilities are available in the adjoining Best Western hotel and they were less than half the price in Singapore; spa facilities and masseuse were good from our 1 visit for a full body 1 hour massage. I saw a sign saying Panbil Residence guests get a 20% discount on Mon-Thurs.
This property is a bit away from the ferry terminal, but pretty new(if am not wrong, it should be 2-3 years old) and offers a decent sized room for S$50 / night with breakfast. The breakfast menu is not impressive, but you can fill your stomach with what’s available. 20-25 minutes to Nagoya Mall and 20 - 25 minutes to Ferry terminal as well. In-room dining was definitely worth the money, especially their chicken wings, Nasi Goreng Ayam, Chicken Chop to name a few. Overall, if you are in Batam for a couple of days and don’t mind the distance from the ferry terminal, It should be okay to stay a weekend.
-Very good facility with the swimming pool, steam, sauna and massage ESKA. But jacuzzi was under maintenance when we visited. -Check in of 3pm is too late -Breakfast option is ok but not too much -There is a convenient store next to the hotel, walk to the main road and you'll see it. Things sold are same as any outside convenient stores. Good to buy mineral water as no water filling facilities in the residence. -Poor service. The front desk will say yes and OK to all your request but they will never deliver what you requested. I ended up talking to some staff passing the corridor for direct service. -View from the room is nice -Each room has its dedicated wifi
