The rooms need updated and the bathroom was dirty and gross. There were dead bugs all over the floor. The only good thing was the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. We only stayed for one night.
Went down to the office because my room doesn't have a deadbolt on the door to get moved to a different room (preferably on the 1st floor because I'm traveling with 2 dogs - one a 20 week old puppy) and was told it "should be fine". No concern about the fact that I am worried not having the additional security of the deadbolt. Plus getting two dogs down the stairs to relieve themselves isn't pleasant. The room is decent enough but I definitely don't recommend staying if you're a woman traveling alone.
I was expecting it to be, only OK for an overnight stay, since I had stayed at the Day's Inn at the same exit last month. The Motel 6 wasn't just OK, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to a very nicely decorated room, and at only $54! I paid $78 at the other hotel, and it was ok, but not nearly as nicely decorated as the Motel 6 and at a much cheaper rate. I will be staying there on future trips to the area. I didn't think to take pictures until just before bed, so the bed wasn't made anymore.
I stayed for a few weeks with my family and pets. The staff was very friendly amd sweet, and it was in a quiet area. The ihop next door was great. The fremch toast is the best. I would def stay again.
Wow went down to pick up a truck to bring back to Ohio, My buddy wanted to stay somewhere cheap. While checking in we were approached by a guy wanting to sell us drugs at the check in desk. there was a guy passed out on the couch in the lobby. Oh wait it gets better, we drive around to the other side of the building and park and there are two guys selling jewelry out of their car supposedly from Chicago to some Hispanic gents. Feeling great about leaving my truck parked there but head up to our room on the second floor,as I walk past the room on the corner there was a young black girl with a young white guy collecting money from an old black man, ok what does that have to do with anything, well the way she was dressed was a dead giveaway and the red scarf over the lamp. Well we got to our room and when we opened the door the smell of stale cigarettes was overwhelming and when we closed the door on the back of it said lock the door for your safety. On the bright side after a thorough check of the room there were no bed bugs. I did check the mattress and glad it had a cover on it. Next night I picked were we stayed, and it was oh so much better.…
