We had 11 nights at this site on a large shady pitch with electricity. Our children aged 10 and 13 loved the pool and slides, playing football, ping pong, tennis and crazy golf. We took an inflatable dinghy and paddled up the river. The only reason I've not given it 5 stars was because when the site was busy the toilet block could have done with having an extra clean scheduled in - it quite quickly became grubby. There are lots of off-road cycle routes starting at the campsite. Reception have a ring binder with printouts of each route - they advised taking a photo of this, which to me didn't seem like a dependable map, but the routes are actually very well sign posted. We did route 1 (5.5K) and my 10 year old pushed her bike some of the way - it took us an hour. We also did route 6 stopping at the bakery in Eymouthiers (around 10K and it took us about 3 hours in all! They are quite technical paths, one steep stretch it seemed as though a builder had just dumped all his rubble on it! But we did enjoy it - just allow plenty of time if you have kids. The supermarket is a 10 minute drive away - it would only take half an hour to cycle but it is a very steep hill out of the site.

We have just spent 9 nights at this campsite and can’t recommend it enough. We brought our own tent but paid more for a decked and covered area with fridge and tables and chairs which was definitely worth it. The campsite is sent in beautiful surroundings and there is loads for the kids to do we did horse rides tree high wires tennis crazy golf and went on some lovely walks . The pool was lovely and clean we always managed to get a sun lounger and the kids loved the water slides. The restaurant on site was great and the kids especially enjoyed the wooden games evening. All the staff were friendly and helpful we will definitely be back

This is a lovely campsite and we would highly recommend staying. The campsite has plenty of shaded pitches and the premium pitches have electricity, fridge, barbecue, cooker, garden furniture & a cooker - so everything you could possibly need. All the communal areas were kept scrupulously clean. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant on our last night. Great food and brilliant value. It also has to be said how helpful & friendly all of the staff were. They really want you to have a great holiday.

Two night stay. Pitches spacious but uneven so leveling block etc required. Toilet block ok but not fully open. Bar & restaurant look ok. Small shop. Friendly welcome. Arrivals parking needs improvement. A drinking water tap and grey water drain outside toilet block would be good. Last 2km needs care.

Thank you for your review! In low season, we only open the heated sanitary for more confort when the mornings and evenings are fresh! The open equipment is calculated in relation to the number of people present on the campsite, so always enough according to the standards of a 4-star campsite. We are working on the water tap and grey water drain, for the moment the campervan service area is operating. We hope to see you in the future!

If you don't like to hear the noise of kids enjoying themselves this is possibly not your kind of site. But if you have kids with you this site must be pretty perfect. It's a big site but the pitches are a decent size so not cramped at all. The facilities blocks are looking dated but kept very clean. The best thing about the place is the staff, everyone actually looks as if they enjoy their job and are very helpful. Hard to seriously fault the place.
