We have been staying at Casa Ybel now for 14 years. Every year we are amazed at how well the property is kept up. Grounds as well as units. Some aspect of work is always being done to keep it pristine. Incredible beach where we can watch both the sunrise and the sunset as the

Casa Ybel is pretty with nice grounds and beach. But it is not worth luxury prices over the holidays. Lacks some basic resort services like cold water at tennis court, or coffee /any breakfast before 11.00 available in the morning. you can cook in your room, but will wake

We loved CasaYbel. The only negative was extremely poor wifi. Had wonderful beach access. Could have benefited having an elevator and covered parking. Also would have like lighting on the lanai so that we could have packed our shells more easily.

The resort is ideally located, the unit was spacious and well equipped. We had a wonderful time. Be advised there are many steps and no elevator. We were on the third floor so we got help from the front desk for unloading and loading. The plus was that the views from the

To the best of my recollection all rooms are approximately 100 yards from the beach.

That's a very odd question. I live locally. I work locally. In the high end fashion industry, by the way, where every type of respectful person is openly welcomed. If you are looking to hump your partner publicly, I would suggest finding the proper resort. This is a family friendly vacation spot with a younger crowd, as I have stated, that I'm sure is fairly accepting of the gay relationships of today. And I can't even address the color comment. The fact you even brought it up tells me maybe you should be booking at the local Motel 6. Sounds like you have a chip on your shoulder .....

Yes it is set back somewhat if you pull up google maps you'll see the location from the aerial image. I would call the resort to ask if the beach has been cleaned because if not, and there are dead fish on the shore, there will be a smell I imagine.
