Upon check in bathroom toilet was unclean and sticky and the linens on bed by window smelled like a wet dog. Overall room cleanliness was NOT good. Floor and carpet were dusty with some stains that were reminiscent of pet feces. AC unit released lot of dust. Fridge and microwave weren’t very clean. Continental breakfast was average and simplified and not as good as previously experienced at other Hilton properties. Kitchen staff stopped placing to-go brown paper bags on counter for guests on the account of “some guests carry too much food”. Found dog poop on first floor carpet near sideway entry and had to report to desk agent, Gerry. Overall customer service was also average. Stayed for 17 days, opted for self housekeeping but had to keep requesting new linens and other housekeeping items which took longer to obtain or did not obtain in some cases. One time, I had to place multiple calls to front desk over a period of 3 to 4 hours for the same housekeeping request and it was frustrating, disappointing, and discouraging. No proactive initiatives or measures taken by staff to check with us daily or weekly about what housekeeping items were needed. Front desk agent LaShonda or LaShondra was particularly rude and accused me of carrying too much food to my room and lied about hotel GM insisting that all guests must be required to eat their breakfast downstairs in the breakfast area in order to control their food intake; which is ridiculous and unsafe in my opinion given current pandemic. I reported this behavior to Assistant GM, Sierra Scott, who was particularly professional and kind from the get go. Kudos to Venezuelan housekeeper, Ingrid, who was particularly kind, nice, professional, attentive, and helpful every time we met in the hallways of the 5th floor and did her best to accommodate us with items we needed. Kudos to night shift front desk agent, Jeffrey, who checked us in, and was sensitive to our dirty bathroom situation. He was always professional and attentive.

The hotel looks clean on the outside and no issues with the cleanliness of the actual hotel but they allow people to put out large amounts of trash in the hallway blocking the halls. Also the pool is nice but it seemed as though they let people not staying at the hotel to use the pool.

Rude staff upon arrival, dishwasher was broke and was never ran, we had dirty dishes. Otherwise it was average and okay. Location was good and only a few miles from Universal parks. Food locations and Walmart close by.
