We are loving our 1st time here at lovely Water’s Edge RV resort! Wendy has been so kind and helpful… and Don the groundskeeper is very kind and accommodating. The canal view is so peaceful and all of the nice flat paver sites are perfect for any class A or C or travel trailer. The grounds are well maintained and have nice palm trees on each site. We will absolutely return with our friends next time! :)

We are Hurricane Ian evacuees from Tampa Bay area and found this gem outside the hurricane cone to escape to. Wonderful spot - all are paved - we were set up right on the canal to Lake Okeechobee and had the Tiki hut pavilion right behind us. Wendy, the owner was super nice and accommodating to our questions on the way down there during pre-hurricane travel and while we were there. Recommend this RV resort vs the others we drove by!

We called Water's Edge in a panic when our originally reserved camp spot was an actual nightmare, and Wendy and Tom were able to accommodate us without questions. They are running a top notch RV resort with beautifully laid out property and amenities. The sites were not only level, but laid with pavers. Everyone was friendly and inviting. It is on a canal that goes to Lake O, with a boat launch and cleats to tie up. The chickee hut on the water is a perfect happy hour meeting spot! I highly recommend this place when you want to get away.

Stayed at Waters Edge, Okeechobee Fl, for a little over a week. New owners, Wendy & Tom, we’re friendly & accommodating, we had to extend our stay as we had an RV issue waiting on repair. We were very lucky to have stayed there. The property is clean and beautifully manicured. Great place to stay whether for a short or long term stay. Highly recommend.

Hello my name is Tom & my wife is Wendy we are the new owners of Waters Edge Motor Coach & Rv Resort as of 12/30/21. We would like to WELCOME YOU ALL to our resort. We will be making improvements as needed. The WWTP & drain-field just received a 100 thousand dollar upgrade and now has no issues at all. We had no control over the previous management actions. If you have stayed here before and did not have a great time we are very sorry. We would like to have a chance to make that up to you. If you would let us. We would like you to come visit our little piece of paradise and make memories you will never forget. Our priorities are simple theirs yours.

Beautiful RV resort and much nicer that the other places around the rim of Lake O. Angela provides very accommodating, responsive and friendly customer service for a first time RV-er. Grounds were nice with plenty of room for the kids to play, lay in the hammocks and a fenced dog area for the pooch to run. Sites were clean, level and had plenty of room. Just stayed one night with the family to test out the new RV but will be back for a longer stay in the future.

I had a trip planned that, due to illness, I shouldn’t have taken. But day of departure and I felt fine so I headed out. Next day, not so good and I was worried about being able to pull my TT home. After the owners found out my situation they told me not to worry about the trailer. Take care of me and they will have someone tow it home for me later in the week. I never expected such kindness and generosity from people. You don’t see that every day. Because I was not feeling well I didn’t explore the property but will definitely return to this property again.

We stayed at the Water's Edge over the Memorial Day weekend 2018. We had a wonderful time ! The park is beautiful and well maintained, and Sue and Tom were some of the nicest people we have met. We would definitely go there again. We were offered to spend time in the club house, and although it rained all weekend, we didn't use the pool. The tiki hut is nice, we ate out there one night as a group. The fishing was good, and the town of Okeechobee is just 10 mins away. HIGHLY recommended for a quiet place to relax and enjoy our beautiful Lake Okeechobee.

This park was extremely well maintained. It sits along the Okeechobee canal with boat ramp access. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. if, however, you want to watch TV (like election returns) or use Wi-Fi you are in trouble. No cable, and although we were told by others they could get two TV channels, we could not get a single one. Most of the other campers had satellite dishes -- now i know. Staff did not seem to be concerned about this issue, so don't foresee any changes forthcoming.
