This hotel has definitely lived its best life and is past it's prime. It is beat up, worn out and is need of an overhaul. My bed was clean (most important), but was otherwise pretty dirty - black hair all over the bathroom and you could tell a man had recently used the toilet and was anything but careful. The carpet was stained and the walls were all banged up - pretty gross. Pool chairs were torn up and, overall, just grungy. On a positive, staff was kind...it's hard when multiple planes have been delayed and many people arrive that are grouchy and tired.

I just came here to say this. I wanted to open up my window to see some beautiful Miami sky and I got this. Just no. Also, just be advised that the toilets are painfully low so if you have bad knees or a bad back you may struggle up and down. Just here for a few hours before catching an early morning flight. I’d stay here again for a quick convenience stay.

We stay there as the place is close to the airport and you can just walk in to the rental car center the following morning to get your vehicle. Rates are now 30% higher than last year whilst service is worse than what it was (and it was not top notch back then). Check-in takes long and staff is not experienced and focused on the job. They then sent us to a room number (I recall 908). The cards did not work. So before going down again. I checked on the app if I got the mobile key. That was not the case but the app said my room is 906 so that one worked. Room: ok and clean. Then went to the lounge around 09.45pm to grab something. Only soft drinks. No food/chips anymore. A choice to make I guess. Following morning wanted to have breakfast. I called front desk (on my european mobile as the in-room phone was dead) and asked where I can get it. They said that the lounge and restaurant both have full breakfast but given the hotel is not fully booked, they would recommend going to the restaurant as they would have more (so is it now the same as in the lounge or not?). I asked if both was complimentary for Ambassador member staying in a Suite. Answer: yes. Took the elevator and went down. The restaurant host then said they would charge us. Told them I called. Not interested. Went back up to the lounge for the other breakfast. Nearly nothing left around 10am. Got some cold scrambled egg and a coffee. Asked the lounge staff if there is nothing more. Answer: no but we could go down to the restaurant and to get in, she would give us a voucher. Gave up. I am not riding an elevator for 4 times to get a decent breakfast, running back and forth between a restaurant and a lounge. Put up with it, packed the bags and checked out. No further comment to make.

Stayed here for one night based on other positive reviews and regretted it almost instantly. We checked in late around 11PM and the front desk lady was chatting with her other employees, who were cursing disinterested in helping us check in. She was rude rolled her eyes throughout the check in for no reason. Parking is $26 but the other reviews saying “there’s plenty of parking” is just not true. The garage was full. I called the Front desk lady who was unbelievably rude and told me to go to the overflow lot before hanging up. The key doesn’t work to get into the lot so when I called back to tell her she said “someone will open it soon” and hung up. The hallway wall was ripped up and moldy on the way to our room. Once we got to the room we weren’t surprised to see the dirty walls and furniture in their “club level” The AC took LITERALLY 4 hours to cool a 200sf room down. We should’ve known this would be an issue as the lobby was hot when we walked in. Once it cooled down, it didn’t even cool to the temperature we set it at and the room remained hot and muggy all night. I like to always give a place the benefit of the doubt but in a city with hundreds of competing hotels, do yourself a favor and DO NOT stay at the Sheraton. Go literally anywhere else. We only stayed one night here and couldn’t wait for the experience to be over.

This hotel is out of date and not well-maintained. It's perfectly clean and functional, but it's gone to seed enough that it's tough to call it a 3-star. My room has a yellow-white phone from the 90s and a broken clock radio. One of the shampoos came off the wall; instead of fixing it, they just set it on a shelf with the broken holder still attached. The walls are paper thin and I can hear my neighbor's phone calls. On the plus side, the staff are friendly, the food at the restaurant is fine, and the shuttle driver was impressively professional. If you just need a place to crash near the airport, it's fine.

arrived late in am, shuttle was not on time as promised, found out the port shuttle no longer ran even though it was still on the website, the phone system was down where we couldn't call from airport, when we got another hotel shuttle and arrived, were told we didn't have two rooms, showed proof and they found only one room, worked longer and found the other room. The only bright spot of this trip to Sheraton was the consieredesk lady named Elaine. She stepped up and tried her best to help us with transportation and getting us to the ship terminal the next day. She was great, the best I have seen. The management should put her in charge and maybe she could salvage that ill run place. Good work, Elaine.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your honest feedback! Please accept my apologies for the poor stay you had. Our shuttles runs every 20 minutes on the hour - departing from the hotel on that mark, and it typically takes approximately 10 minutes to make a complete rotation around the airport. You are correct as we do not offer shuttle service to the cruise port, however, we can organize a taxi on your behalf or you may use Uber/ Lyft. Finally, please again accept our apologies for the mishap with only having 1 reservation instead of the 2 that you booked. I am delighted to read that the Front Desk and Elaine were able to resolve these issues for you. I hope you would give us the opportunity to make this up to you in the future!

After a long flight arrived at 2240. Kitchen is closed! Advertised to be open till midnight. Never been to such a magnificent airport hotel catering to travelers where kitchen is closed before midnight. No room service either. Doubt that hotel ever won any traveler choice awards - starting with the lack of dining options and finishing up with very tired rooms, there are better options in the MIA airport area

Thank you for providing your feedback. Our restaurant is open until 11PM daily. We understand how frustrating that could be for our late evening travelers and sincerely apologies for any inconvenience caused. Similarly to the lack of in-room dining. Like many others, staffing continues to be one of the number one challenges in the industry. However, we hope to reintroduce this as soon as we attract and train quality candidates. I will share your feedback with the Food and Beverage Director so we can address this accordingly.

Great location next to Miami International Airport. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Our room was on the 7th floor with a view of the golf course canal and pool which was excellent. The common areas bright and clean. I had read that a room refurbishment had taken place. Our room 718 was looking somewhat tired and in need of some much loved TLC far from a refurbished room. It may well be that during the pandemic the refurb was put on hold but I have not seen any update stating that, it’s just my guess. The carpet in room had several staines where drinks had been spilled and carpet had not been cleaned. The unit under the wall mounted TV was heavily scratch on the front facing panel. The desk lamp base was neglected and look to be rusty. The room windows were dirty and in need of cleaning inside and outside. In the bathroom the chrome legs under the sink were going rusty. The mirror had a chip out of the corner and the bath tub surface was pealing. On the bright side the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The hotel has a very good size outdoor pool that was well maintained. Free towels were provided in pool area and restocked throughout the day. The hotel has two restaurants and a large bar which we did not use during our short stay. We chose to use Uber and eat out. The hotel has a concierge service and a brilliant airport shuttle bus. The bus depart the hotel on the hour , 20 minutes past the hour, and 40 minutes past the hour and drops off and picks up from multiple locations at the airport. We found this service excellent, the drivers were friendly and reliable. This is a hotel that by its nature in location has high foot fall and turn over of short stay guest. Despite the room issues, I would definitely consider returning when flying into Miami .

The hotel was reportedly newly renovated. They apparently forgot to renovate anything but the lobby/bar area. Our room was clearly not renovated. The bathroom’s tub was delaminating making it look dirty. The soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser was adhered to the tub wall with suction cups which released in the middle of the night waking us with a start. The air conditioning unit was very loud when operating requiring the TV volume to be raised to hear it over the AC. The rooms were supposedly soundproof to block out the aircraft noise as the hotel is near the airport. The rooms were not soundproof as we clearly heard the aircraft overflights in our room. Although the overflights were not as loud as the AC. The restaurant was closed for an unknown reason but food could be ordered at the bar. The food was average but the bar had a small selection of draft beer. The coffee maker in the room was poor, the coffee pods didn’t fit the maker correctly and created a mess unless continually attended. The concierge and other lobby attendants were unfamiliar with the area surrounding the hotel as they didn’t know there were any restaurants within walking distance and recommended a car service to go anywhere. The good points were that our room overlooked a golf course and a canal. We could see a manatee in the canal. And the shuttle service was efficient and helpful. We informed the counter clerk about the issues with our stay, she provided an insincere apology and have a nice day. We also provided a review on the Sheridan website, the Operations Manager, Ms. Barreto, responded with an insincere apology and hoped we would stay with them again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback with us! Please accept our apologies for the issues that occurred during your stay. Our property was last renovated in 2017 so we no longer consider that recent. I'll have our team review the online webpage to ensure that is updated. I've also shared your feedback with the hotel engineering and housekeeping teams so the issues you experienced can be corrected as soon as possible. I am delighted to see that you enjoyed the view and that our shuttle experience met your expectations. I will share that with he team as that is something to be celebrated! Thank you once again for your honest feedback. I do hope you will allow us the opportunity to make this up to you in the future.
