I have been here frequently for business and leisure . Really nice location, facilities and rooms! But I want to compliment specially guest relations supervisor- Neiky Garcia. She has been outstanding every time I come. Always available since reservation process, during my stays, prompt reply my requests for services and always kind and assertive. She has made past stays much more effortless and pleasant taking care of all details. If you come to Miami - be @ Intercontinental Miami.
The interContinental Hotel was great and priced right. Everyone there was extremely helpful and accommodating. As we pulled up there was an attendant who took our bags immediately so we could leave for our tour of Little Havana. We had an ocean-view room which looked onto the bay and surrounding Miami area. The king-bed was super comfortable. One of the areas that could be improved is the pool. We would definitely rebook here.
Extremely good quality of sleep. Ginormous comfy bed with clean, soft sheets and excellent pillows. No noise, black out blinds, and a good shower. The piece de resistance was the epic view of the waterfront - just amazing. Furthermore, the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was very good. Top quality hotel, would definitely stay again.
Hotel is located on a great spot, easy access to metro mover and fast access to Miami Beach. At the bar ask for Victor, great bartender, super friendly and very informative! Highly recommend this hotel for either a family vacaction or solo for business!
The hotel location and architecture as well is still obviously amazing. Nevertheless the staff specifically the most important ones at guest service are very rude and seem even upset to being at work. The restaurant employees were very kind and courteous. The rooms do seem loke they need an uplift and service in general
This is now my to go to Hotel in Miami. It’s a beautiful hotel. The rooms were very clean . The staff is very friendly and courteous from the door man to front desk to house keeping. You feel like royalty from the moment you walk in. I was upgraded to an ocean view which was spectacular. Breakfast at the Ole was good. They have a nice pool too
Absolutely best in the area, location. Staff. Rooms omg amazing. I had a quick n short stay but i will forever stay if i can. Thank you to the amazing staff. So i definitely recommend this hotel for your stay
Very bad experience in Miami!! When we arrived at the hotel, we knew it charged $50 per night for valet parking, otherwise, you had to park across the street, for $7/hour. When we wanted to think about it and check in before making a decision, the doorman just dropped off our luggage. if you don't get the valet parking, they even don't help with the luggage!!! This is the 4-star hotel's service??!!! There are many stairs between the curb and the check-in desk. Stupid design! On the third night when we came back hotel, the key card didn’t work anymore. And the security guy came and did nothing. We had to go to the check-in desk to get the new keys. And you know there always is a long line waiting. Nobody explained and apologized for what happened. The charging outlets in the room are very loose and easily disconnected. We both got itchy bumps under the skin after sleeping. Will never book InterContinental again!!…
We stayed overnight before a flight to Mexico. The hotel is fabulous with a great vibe as soon as you walk into the lobby. The room was super clean and comfortable. We ate lunch at Toro Toro and everything we ordered was wonderfully presented and delicious. Every member of staff treated us like we were the only people staying there, taking the time to chat and making sure we had everything we needed
There was nothing special about the hotel or the service for the rate (~$260 per night). Cleaning was not done daily and even when it was done, I had to take pictures and request another cleaner. The refrigerator wasn’t even on so couldn’t enjoy a cold beverage when I arrived, it’s also stuffed with products to purchase so there’s no room to store your own cold items. Also, one of the phones in the rooms wasn’t working. The views are great and the location was convenient since it was close to where the conference I was attending was held. One evening, I called to get a ginger ale and they said they didn’t have any. With 3 restaurants in the building, no ginger ale? I went down to Toro in the lobby to get it myself. Would not recommend this hotel. Other great options in the vicinity.…
