This was a very great stay at your hotel. I enjoyed the customer service greatly. The pool overlooked Brickell which was super sexy. I would come back here anytime I come back to Miami as it was a great time for my wife and I.
The service is Mandarin quality and the property is situated at a very good spot in the middle of the city which gives it a resort feel. The rooms are large but the whole property is dated and due for renovation. The pool is tiny but there is a manmade beach area overlooking the water. The complementary yoga classes during the weekend are amazing. The breakfast is really good. This is definitely still the best place to stay in downtown Miami.
It's a decent hotel and the rooms are nice and spacious. The staff is what makes this hotel great though. Everyone is so friendly and caring. It made me feel like the cost of the hotel was worth it because I felt like I was being treated like a VIP and it made me want to come back the next time I come here. My only complaint is that the mandarin should hire someone to occasionally clean the sofas/chairs in the lobby. I had gone downstairs while the room was being cleaned and the sofas smelled super bad (had a rotten smell) to the point that I had to change when I got back up to my room. Also, maybe have more options in terms of food. The oasis cafe, Mo lounge + bar, and in room dining are mostly the same menu items. For long term, it would have been nice to see a diverse range of foods/restaurants, but nevertheless it was still very enjoyable and tasty with ample options. Other than that though, my stay here was awesome and I enjoyed the amenities. Also the dining staff are super nice and helpful. Good job mandarin for hiring the best staff because without their attentive service, it wouldn't have been as enjoyable. Overall, it's AWESOME and I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it is unique in my opinion but it's mainly the staff that made the stay enjoyable.…
The staff at the front desk, bar, room service & catering service was both friendly and professional. I was impressed that the staff struck the perfect balance of being welcoming without being overly friendly or overly stuffy. The room was fine. Double beds seemed particularly small. The hand held shower jumped out of the holder every time I turned the shower on. This is a good hotel for a conference. I would not stay here on a personal trip because it is too isolated. It is a hike to get to stores or restaurants away from the hotel.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed several services that were offered including the bar, restaurant, pool/beach, spa and banquet room. The staff was friendly and attentive, the facility was clean and beautiful. We would definitely recommend.
