Spent the weekend with the wife in Coconut Groove while house hunting and could not have asked for a better hotel. Mr. Cs has a great atmosphere and the staff was tremendous. Will absolutely be visiting again.
Spent a night here with my wife on a very brief visit to Miami. Was looking for a small, elegant boutique hotel away from the garishness of South Beach and the hustle bustle and sterility of Brickell. We could not have been more pleased with this 100 room hotel. The staff was amazing and attentive, and I am grateful to Roberto who went out of his way to get us a dinner reservation at the wonderful Bellini Restaurant in the hotel even though it was fully booked. The rooms are tastefully done, the mattress was exceedingly comfortable and the bathroom was great. And the neighborhood around the hotel is great for walking and exploring, shopping and eating and only a few hundred yards from the marina. I’ve stayed in some other properties that are part of the Leading Hotels of the World and this one definitely merits it’s inclusion.…
Mr. C.'s is simply fabulous. I stayed a few weekends ago, and LOVED the hotel and the surrounding neighborhood. GOODBYE SOUTHBEACH, and HELLO COCONUT GROVE! The hotel is fantastic from the warm welcome at check in, to the fabulous rooms....to the incredibly dining experiences. Wow. I would come back just for the Lasagna, and i dont typically like lasagna! Wow! I cant say enough about this fantastic hotel. I wish i were there now!!
We’ve stayed at Mr C over 20 times in the past few years . Highlights ? Location . Coconut Grove has Come on leaps and bounds in that time . Rooms : all the rooms are spacious , stylish and have great beds and black out drapes . It’s a quiet hotel . Staff : a cut above , and great service . Food : truly superb Italian food , as evidenced by the fact it’s always packed out . Book ahead !
We always enjoy staying at Mr.C. It feels like a home away from home. The style and ambiance are very unique and a huge plus in our eyes. This is our fourth time staying here in a little over a year. Cannot wait to see how the residences come out.
Pricey but worth it.. Service is over the top, rooms have a very cool feel, though not all have great views.. dont miss rooftop bar and restaurant.. old school cool vibe with delicious food.. many places withing 5-10 minute walk and eat from pizza, sports bar or fine dining..same for shopping... parking which is nice touch too
Very clean, nice atmosphere, but the excellent service is to me the main thing. Rooms are fine, but the bathroom has plenty of space and it is comfortable. It called my attention that for the price, the room does not have a small fridge. It has one but it is designed for bottles, so the bar is very well stocked, both int he fridge and on top of the counter. The price is high, I think it is comparable or maybe even higher to the Guitar Hotel. The food is good, nice portions but also over priced.
A European style hotel in a great location. We stayed two nights at Mr C and had a wonderful experience. All of the staff was friendly and helpful, from the valet to the front desk and the waiters and bartenders. The place has a wonderful boutique feel and a European ambience. Don’t miss the bar in the roof top restaurant Bellini- Christian the bartender makes great drinks and has a fantastic fun personality.
Highly recommend, staff are wonderful. Wonderful time and experience. The hotel has perfect location, and it offers many things for guests to enjoy (hotel bicycles and beach chairs and a welcoming cocktail)
Beautiful hotel, Excellent location, Friendly, accommodating and efficient staff. Bellinis were yummy. Morning coffee was fab. Superb location - walk to everything . Will definitely return . *********
