So super disappointed. I was so super excited have a great night with my kid. Super nice new hotel. Super excited. It was going to be really fun. And then when we check again they tell me that it's $15 parking. I didn't see anything about that during my purchase process. And then the kid at the front desk tells me that it's right there on the front of the website. Oh you mean in the area that I never scroll down to because it's two-thirds of the way down and your check prices button is all the way at the top of the website? OU mean that the price for parking wasn't disclosed during the checkout process? What do I need to do program a spider to crawl your entire website and maybe some AI to determine whether I'm going to get up charged after I come it the flying in, renting a car, and then arriving. With no other option on where to put my car? Absolutely disgusting. Hey Hilton you need to train your user experience web guys a little bit better. This was such a complete letdown I don't care if we're talking about $15. It's not about the money. It's about the brand promise. Talk about not feeling taken care of. Instead it felt completely taken advantage of. Is that the way you want to leave your clients feeling?…
This hotel is located just off SW 88th Street, and is right next to Baptist Hospital, Kendall. The walk to the Medical Arts building is less than 3 minutes, depending on your speed. There is a walking path around a lake, just across the street from the hotel - you can think of it all as one big campus-like complex with the park, hospital and hotel. We (my wife and I) stayed here in January 2021 and returned in April 2021. A main reason for the return was the hotel staff, who were quite gracious, and the fact that there was an obvious/visible concern about the Covid-19 pandemic and keeping guests safe by insisting on persons wearing masks, and the availability of various sanitising stations/dispensers throughout the hotel. Only about 2-3 persons are allowed in any of the 3 elevators at one time as well, to avoid the spread of Covid-19. The front desk staff wore masks as did the cleaning staff. Frankly, we noticed that in the Kendall area generally, and especially along SW 88th St., most persons we saw were wearing masks and stores appeared to require persons to wear a mask as well. Neither of us was vaccinated at the time, so this was a very important consideration for our stay. On each of our stays (we stayed on the 4th floor the first time, then on 5th floor the next time) the rooms were clean and Hilton's seal of cleanliness (see photo) did give us some comfort. The rooms were spacious and room service would supply whatever was needed during the stay as daily cleaning is not done - you simply make the request and/or hang the door tag indicating as such if you need your room cleaned. Otherwise, we just asked for any supplies we needed like fresh towels, tissue, etc - worked perfectly for us. The WiFi service wasn't the greatest, even the paid version, but then again we weren't in the hotel all day on most days so it didn't bother us that much. We drove so we used the very ample self-parking lots which have barrier entries operated by your room card (for getting in and out). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay each time. NOTE: For any one who needs a full-sized fridge, or something close to it, and a microwave oven, you'd best reserve at least a Junior suite (see photos) because the Guest King and Queen rooms only have a mini fridge, which can only store very small items like a small milk carton or a food container. Also, those rooms do not have a microwave oven so if you want to heat any food you have to go downstairs to the convenience area (i.e. where you can buy small toiletry accessories and other food items).…
I will think twice in choosing Hilton again. Marriott tends to be a better experience. Could have a lot to do with the location. Miami is fast. The employees did not even take the time to say thank you before taking our money. Lol.
This hotel is new, clean and beautiful! The pool is warm loved swimming in it. Thank you to the very attentive staff Maria, Elizabeth, Genesis, and the staff at the front desk. Great breakfast and wings at night.
Fantastic pool! Staff pretty friendly and helpful. Good location. Very very quiet room. Amazing sunset views from the pool side of the building, from higher floors. Im very good at finding faults in hotels, yet there was nothing much major that I could complain about here. They charge for parking, but I knew that before arriving - its not too much for a major cosmopolitan city and they're well organised with plenty of spaces and very close to the hotel entrance. Id certainly consider returning here, and I really liked Miami.
