We stayed here pre cruise. I can’t say enough about this hotel! The staff here are extremely friendly and go above and beyond. We arrived earlier then expected due to a flight change. When we arrived at the hotel I wanted to see if they would just hold our luggage until check in time so we can explore. To my surprise they had a room ready for me and checked us in. I was so delighted! We had an issue with our toilet and maintenance was there to fix it in 5 mins. The hotel is very clean and our room was spacious. We had a view of the port from our room! It’s in walking distance to Publix to get some last minute cruise essentials. Also close to some restaurants. We will definitely stay here again next cruise!
Customer Service must be trained every day because this hotel excels in it. Just booked a trip for April 2022 and I am coming back home. Front of the house, back of the house, all of the office best in the world. If a customer gives this Hotel less than 5 starts then there is no satisfying that person to begin with. Have stayed numerous times and consistent. Pricey yes at times but then it is not a Motel 6 by no means. If you want Super 8 prices then that is where you might want to look. Prices reflect where the location is and waking up to see your cruise ship has slipped in overnight is the best thrill.
Room on 17th floor, beautiful harbor view. Elevator operation is a bit confusing at first but you get used to it. Room included breakfast at hotel restaurant which was basic and I probably wouldn't pay for it if not included. Room was a good size, bed could have been firmer and bathroom was clean with good hot water pressure. Lots of valet operators waiting to help. No shuttle or cruise port transportation so you'll have to find your own. Friendly staff, ask for extra pillows and received them within the hour. I would stay again.
My name is Paul Yakubu. I stayed at the HILTON HOTEL DOWNTOWN MIAMI on the 27-29th of April 2022. I arrived at the hotel at 10:30pm on the 27th with my luggage after driving 10 hours from Atlanta ( I just relocated to Miami), I was too tired to take my stuff upstairs to my room but since I’m valet-ing my car I thought well, my stuff is safe, I left everything in the car and proceeded to check in. Picked my car up at 1:00pm the 29th and head straight to my apartment, got home and started unpacking my bags and then realized one of my bags was missing, the one that has all my pants (Gucci pants) I rushed back to HILTON HOTEL to report the matter. “The head security officer” had me wait in the lobby for 3 hours while he claimed he went to run the camera. He came back after 3 hours and told me the valet guys parked my car out of the reach of CCTV/Camera, he couldn’t determined how my luggage got stolen. Said nothing about querying the driver. Now I have been wearing one pants for days and HILTON HOTEL did absolutely nothing to reach out or even further investigate my case. 10 Gucci pants was stolen together with my bag and a Gucci watch. The thought of how Hilton hotel handled my case makes me really mad and I have no clue who to reach out to anymore. Things like this happens to people like me without a voice or platform and nothing gets done. I’d appreciate if anyone could point me to the right direction about this matter. Paul Yakubu.…
Well at this hotel you don’t get treated like you have any tier status. 1- no longer get a free breakfast as diamond member. You get money off. At breakfast prices at this hotel it’s cheaper to go to Denny’s 2- asked for late checkout and could only give me 1200. Which is the standard check out time 3 - there is no lounge for diamond members What’s the point of diamond membership. I am same level at IHG you get much more tha. Hilton. Stay at IHG property
