For the second consecutive year, my family and I spent the week at the Cormorant between July and August. Our room, despite being in the same category as last year, we found it better, more comfortable and with a really efficient air conditioning system. As for meals it was a pleasant confirmation with Maria Cristina and Angelica to take care of my wife (celiac) with specially designed proposals. Even for lunches at the beach restaurant we always found a place whenever we wanted to stay a little longer (by Reservation the same morning). A huge praise goes to the animation team led by Alfio, a true multifaceted show man, very nice and inexhaustible energy. He and his team were able to involve us without ever making us feel obliged with great tact and sympathy. In a nutshell they made us feel GOOD! We are back home after spending a practically perfect holiday. The staff, from the reception, to the cleaning ladies to the really friendly and helpful room, always ready to fulfill every request with extreme diligence. Food always in abundance and of excellent quality, with a remarkable variability of proposal. A special mention goes to all the animation staff led by Alfio, in years of holidays in the village I have never felt such a strong union, such a high professionalism (professional football and tennis instructors, as well as Raffaella, the choreographer, fitness instructor and European vice-champion of Latin American dances), and despite these very high standards, guys always available, ready to involve everyone, even the most reluctant, without ever being intrusive. Room 408, booked from 12 to 20 August. At the reception we didn't find anyone to offer us a glass of water, or to welcome us... let alone for our suitcases... it was Saturday... they told us that it was a day of rest (for the entertainers) and for the staff of the facility ? Leaving aside this, which is already serious for a 4 star hotel, when we arrived in the room we found it dirty, with tufts of dust between the bed and the curtains and even full of ants... the sheets had holes in them (I attach a photo) but I say... a check before deliver the room to a customer right?? First time for me and my family on holiday in a village with all-inclusive formula. Expectations confirmed 100%, competent staff starting from the reception, the staff dedicated to photography, all the animation staff from Alfio (team leader) to all the guys who are part of the animation crew, where professionalism, smile and sympathy accompany every single minute of the day. A special praise to the kitchen department where all the staff led by chef Salvatore, has the ability to make every meal live up to in a wedding banquet, EXCEPTIONAL.
