I wanted to share our experience if it helps anyone else decide whether or not to book a room. I do realize that you get what you pay for and this room was cheap. With everything going on with COVID-19, I still thought it would be clean. The first room picture below was dirty full of dust and smelled like smoke. There was no working smoke detector in the room either. The second room was a little better in that it had a working smoke detector and no smoke smell. We cleaned the room with our own supplies after asking for some things to be updated and received “we will try”. The grounds outside were filled with trash and cobwebs. We had a guest in town and need a place last minute for them to stay for two nights. Based on the photos and what was available this was our only option. It is definitely not a Resort. Lesson learned for us and wanted to be sure to share it with someone else. …
Should be condemned. Dead plants in the hallways, questionable people all over, a resort fee to use a mini golf that’s rotted and covered in mold, mold in rooms, rust on doors, WiFi slower then dialup. This place is horrid it should of been torn down 20years ago but somehow it has stayed open. Don’t go
On March 10, 2021, my husband and I arrived at this "resort" at approximately 11:30 pm and upon entry into the room the light switch fell off the wall. Trying to locate a working light to see what the rest of the room looked like we discovered roaches, dirty carpets, pillow cases stained as well as a chair that had so many stains on it I wouldn't even place my shoes on it. I proceeded to enter the bathroom that had black mold on the ceiling as well as a hole in the ceiling. We immediately went to the front desk and asked to check out and find out how a refund could be issued. We were advised that it had to go through Jetblue vacations as that is who booked the hotel for us. Upon contacting Jetblue they advised us that the hotel is refusing to refund us the $140 we paid to attempt to stay at this horrific place. I have pictures to prove how unsanitary and unsafe this hotel is. I can not even begin to understand how they can say they are a 3 star "resort". I just want my money returned to me.…
We stayed there 3/8-3/15. First the only have maid service on Sunday and the rest of the week trash everywhere. But when we checked in Saturday we weren’t given enough towels for my family. We though it wouldn’t be a big deal because we would get maid service the next day. That never happened. We asked for towels then at desk and nothing. Still never received any. We needed to buy ourselves towels and wash clothes from Walmart. Then we noticed the sink area was infested and liquefied. You can see mold on all the walls mold in the bathroom Drug addicts and homeless people all around the hotel. People arguing, smoking marijuana with underage children. It seemed more like a project than a resolt. There was no maid service the entire time that we stayed here. We were not told that would be the case until we asked about it. We had two small trash cans with no extra bags. We had to take the trash out ourselves using grocery bags.…
The pictures of this property must be from 50 years ago. It was a sh*t hole. I was skeptical when I arrived, as there was not even a name anywhere on the hotel. After checking in I went to the room. The further I went into the “resort” the more unsafe I felt. I opened the door to the room, peered inside, and immediately returned the key to the front desk and left.
