I love this tiny beachside hotel—Casa Pellegrino. One block from the Hollywood Beach and Boardwalk. The owner took great pride in his circus—explaining his family’s Italian roots and how they came to buy the property in 1947. And topped it off with complimentary limoncello (vodka)— his mother makes it. And cheese, salami, and fruit —complimentary again. Very clean. Such a lovely experience.
Once again Casa Pellegrino didn’t disappoint! The room was extremely clean with comfortable beds and soft linens. We are always greeted with such hospitality when we arrive and a heartfelt goodbye at checkout. You are extremely close to the beach, restaurants, bars and shops but not to close to disrupt the peacefulness of the hotel. You will never go wrong by staying here. A hidden gem we continue to come back too.
Such an adorable hotel. Staff's hospitality was bar far 5 star. Only 12 unit available so book ahead of time. This place was immaculately clean, customer service was bar far the best we have had in a long time. We got lucky on this find, went away for a quick weekend getaway and this place came up on places to stay. Luckily we were able to get the last room available. Definitely will stay here again!
What a great find! The Casa Pellegrino Hotel is the place to stay in Hollywood Beach Florida! Alex greeted us like we were family! We really felt like we were in Italy! The hotel room was clean and so comfortable. Everything is within walking distance so no car is needed. I say it's the best value hands down!! We can't wait to book again but next time we will stay a few extra days.
This is a small hotel a block away from the beach. There is a nice enclosed courtyard, marred by the use of artificial flowers in addition to perfectly good live plantings. The pleasant fountain was turned off too early, just as the sun got low enough to enjoy sitting outside in the shade. Our room was scrupulously clean but depressing. Maybe more artwork on the wall or warmer-spectrun lighting would have helped. There was no mold smell in the room but there was a noticeable smell of cleaning solution, reinforcing the impression of a cheap motel. The air conditioning worked well. The bed was comfortable, with clean linens. The very clean refrigerator was supplied with water, soft drinks and beer. The courtesy antipasti and limoncello as well as a few pieces of fruit were a welcome touch. The clean kitchenette included a microwave, dishes, silverware and a bottle opener. To my surprise, every decoration in the room was glued down, even the fake flowers. Wifi was free and secure, though not the fastest. There are only three parking spaces on site but there was always a space for us to park. The COVID-19 pandemic was used as an excuse not to clean the room daily. Sixteen months into the pandemic, we know that COVID-19 not transmitted by objects but only by person-to-person contact. In summary, it’s a clean place to stay, close to the beach and with a pleasant courtyard but not worth $276/night ($312 with tax) in July.…
