B ocean is the place to stay! With the back hotel dumping right into the beach, it’s the perfect set up to enjoy the ocean as well as the beach. With an outdoor cabana situated perfectly, you Never have to leave your seat with amazing service from people like Jaeshawn! Whatever they pay him, it can’t certainly be enough. His customer service and attention to detail is beyond reproach. Would come back just for him!

Deon made sure we were taken care of on the beach. We enjoyed our ocean front room, the convenience of the hotel parking and sky walk across the Hwy, the bartenders at the pool side bar and the beach staff was amazing making sure we had the location on the beach we wanted! The location of this hotel is perfect!

We had a room in the "Clipper" building - which is the main building where the front desk is located. Our room (#1227) didn't face the ocean and was accessible from one of the outdoor hallways. Surprisingly, all the outdoor hallways in this building have at least 50% of the hallway lights burned out, so these exterior hallways were pretty dark at night. These same hallways need a good power washing and repainting as well! I was kind of surprised that the hotel hasn't made an effort on these areas to keep them as nice as the rest of the hotel. The lobby is very pretty, clean and modern. The pool area and bathrooms were nice and clean as well. Our room was modern and clean. We were only given 2 towels and 1 wash cloth and 1 bar of soap (no soap for sink). The sink didn't drain well at all. We complained on the first day and it never got fixed so they knocked off 1 day worth of resort fees ($30) from our final bill when we checked out. The room safe wasn't functional (batteries were dead?) and it wasn't even bolted down to anything, just sitting on the top shelf of the closet! I complained at checkout about this too and they knocked off another $3.90 from the resort fee hahaha! Yes, $3.90. Someone could literally just pick it up and walk away with it. Our king sized bed had a queen fitted sheet on it. Luckily a maid cart was at the end of the hallway so I snagged a king sheet and swapped it out....also grabbed some extra towels and a couple wash cloths. Stopped by front desk for a couple extra bars of soap too. Yes, the nightly rate is reasonable, but tack on at least $30/day resort fee when you check in (I think the fee fluctuates depending what website you use to book). Plus if you drive, self parking and valet are both about $45 a day!!!! So, what was once a fairly reasonably priced hotel, is now getting expensive. Your resort fee does pay for 2 beach towels and 2 beach lounge chairs per hotel room. The cabana guys make this big deal when you show up to the beach about giving you the towels and leading you to the chairs of your choice. I think it’s all to start up a rapport with you so you use them to order drinks and food versus going up to the pool bar to order. I brought a soft cooler in my suitcase, walked 10 min down the road to the 7Eleven and bought a case of my own beer. There are ice machines in various places to get ice. The beers at the pool start out at $9 (i think) each. My only complaint about the beach is the trash. There is a good bit of straws, bottle caps, cigarette/cigar butts, drink lids, and various other trash that could be picked up by a more caring cabana crew on their “private beach” if they weren’t so busy with chatting up guests and texting on their phones.

We stayed at the B Ocean Resort in FLB for a quick winter get-away and it was a fantastic stay! We had a small issue with the bathroom sink and it was taken care of immediately. Julia at the front desk was so wonderful, kind, efficient, and helpful. Can’t thank her enough! Anthony at the beach front was a favorite for my daughters and my mom. He always made sure we had a great spot on the beach and took care of anything we needed. Please remember to tip as they work really hard! Drinks were good, beautiful view from our balcony. Beds were comfortable and fit two people per bed just fine. The water taxi is right across the street by the fire station and that is a must do. The Marriott next store was more expensive and restricted pool time and a lot of amenities were not available but that was not the case at B Ocean Resort! So glad I chose to go with this resort. I never saw anyone inside without a mask and it wasn’t crowded with spring breakers.Thank you Julia, Anthony, and B Resort for a wonderful vacation. Loved it here and we will be back!! View from room, the clipper building.
