This was the perfect getaway. I was directly on the beach, with an oceanfront view in my spacious room! I was so excited that the resort had an awesome tiki bar where I could grab food and drinks! They even had fresh conch there, to die for!! At night we ate dinner and heard the best live music at Casa Calabria located inside the resort! The service was AMAZING, always was greeted by the staff who make me feel super at home there. They also have a super cool gift shop, coffee bar, pool directly on the beach! Thanks for the best experience of my life. Highly recommend.
Amazing place to stay! Great people and staff! Ask for Rafael and Mari! Made us very comfortable! Feels like home away from home!!!! Rooms are great and cozy right in front of the beach. Amazing food and drinks! Tiki bar is so fun and lively at night! Pools view is great and it’s clean! Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay thanks to Rafael!!!
Booked a week stay & left a day earlier due to aggravation at this hotel. 1st this is a condo/ hotel so things are done differently than a traditional hotel. My room was outdated, and had no matching furniture. 2nd. I had to call maintenance to fix the TV which took over 1hr to arrive. 3rd. Housekeeping only comes twice a week. Which I think is odd during Covid & for a Beachfront hotel. We had to beg for towels, and our garbage was overflowing. I feel really bad for the housekeepers working here, because everyone was upset at them for unclean rooms, and no towels. Mgmt should make guest aware of their 2 day only cleaning policy...4th. Pest control woke us up to spray our room ( this is something I believe should be done when a room is empty) & 5th we saw bugs that night, probably due to pest control spraying that morning. That was the last straw, and we called Priceline to leave early. We we refunded our money, due to the fact that when Priceline called the front desk, no one answered the phone after they made several attempts. Needless to say, I will never stay here again.…
this hotel was beautiful and their service was great. awesome amenities and for a good price, and they accommodated all our needs :) Rafael was very helpful and kind during our stay. Will be visiting again for sure!
I’ll start by stating that I did not expect a 5 star resort based on what we paid. We experienced a mix of pros and cons during our weeklong visit, however, the end result is that we will not stay here again. Let’s start with the pros: the location is beach front and is situated close to nice restaurants, night life, and recreation. The Tiki bar is convenient, has decent drinks and food, and the wait staff were mostly pleasant. I appreciated the full kitchen in our suite, the ability to do a couple loads of laundry (located in the basement), and because there are 4 elevators, getting to the tenth floor never took too long. The valet staff were also quick and never had us wait very long for our vehicle. The resort next door offers jet ski, paddleboard, and kayak rentals to the public, creating a couple of the highlights of our trip. Now onto the cons: what is particularly disappointing is that most of the areas of concern could be solved with better management. First, the resort is generally dirty. They don’t seem to have an overnight cleaning crew, therefore, if you want to see the sunrise over the ocean, be prepared to step over an unacceptable amount of trash making your way to the water. This is especially apparent when you look over at the nearby resorts. Housekeeping does exist, however, they are not dependable. The guy setting up the umbrellas has to go! He has no interest in being in customer service. We had to wait each day we wanted an umbrella for him to finally see us and decide to care. One morning we were even told that he wanted to finish his breakfast first (at 10am with a growing line). Our doorknob to our room did not lock properly, the kitchen light did not work and one of the dining room chairs was cracked and unsafe. None of these issues ruined our vacation, but with all the competition even off the same road, this is not your best choice. This is a mom and pop operation and it shows. The resort is run down, most of the staff seem unhappy, and they are lacking the processes and execution you could find through any other national competitor.…
