As a Lifetime Diamond I was immediately recognized and thanked for my loyalty to Hilton upon checkin. My wife and I decided to try this hotel based on my previous experiences with Conrad’s in Hong Kong and Singapore and we surely were not disappointed. The exceptional level of personalized and detailed service throughout this property cannot be emphasized enough. It is important to note that the entire team is passionate about working at this property, it appears that it is much more than a job to them. I believe this outlook from the team stems from the top management at this property. It is quite evident that the management empowers the team and this directly relates to their can-do attitude. We visited Takato each day and dinner at this spot should not be missed. The Atlas Bar and Spinnaker are the two other outlets that you can enjoy some lunch or an evening nite cap. The housekeeping, pool staff, front desk, concierge, servers and bell staff all did an excellent job and always with a smile and caring attitude. There are many properties along the beach but this is the hidden gem you should stay at. We enjoyed the balance of a 5 star full service property but with the intimate nature of a boutique hotel. We are already planning to return with my family this summer as we cannot wait o experience the Conrad once again.

Hotel's Favourite
Went to Fort Lauderdale to at least look at the ocean and pretend we were on a cruise ship during Covid and decided to stay at the Conrad this time, and am so happy we did! First, use American Express travel if you have a platinum card, they are part of the Fine Resorts & Hotels, and you are able to receive breakfast and resort credit. Second, be sure to book a ride from the airport to the hotel as there are just not taxis available in FLL at this time. Third, if you can, spring for an ocean front residence with a balcony. This room was AMAZING!!! 1.5 bathrooms, one smaller balcony and one gigantic one covered as well as a fabulous soaking tub. We arrived a little early so our room wasn't quite ready, so Lionel, who greeted us, immediately sent us to the bar for happy hour with credit for drinks to enjoy our wait until they texted. He then explained everything we needed to know about our stay. This room was very updated and even had a nice kitchen with full refrigerator. I would DEFINITELY stay here again, the restaurant attached to hotel is wonderful, so be sure and book reservations there one night.

Currently staying at the Conrad. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff had been amazing but today, (literally almost 2 hours ago) my family had poop thrown at us from the pool. As we were sitting on lounge chairs in front of our room, a child, that looked to be about the same age as my oldest son or older (11), threw something brown over his head and it landed right next to my oldest son’s chair. As I looked down and realized it was poop, I began asking what would make them do such a thing. The two other kids in the pool with the child that threw it began pointing saying it was him but I didn’t need them to point because I literally saw him. I proceeded to ask the child where his parents were so I could inform them. After him laughing and ignoring me, I walked over to the pool staff to inform them of what happened. They checked it out, proceeded to call the necessary staff and security came and had it cleaned up. Security informed us that they give all guest a warning and after a warning, then the guests are evicted from the hotel. He went over to address the family, finished cleaning everything up and comped our previous food order. As I sit here, I am disheartened because I can understand giving guests a warning for bad behavior but throwing poop at guests should warrant more than a warning. My children are confused as to how someone can do such a thing and still be able to enjoy the same amenities they are without following the rules. Different standards for different folks is becoming the norm and though it appears behavior like this will be accepted in certain areas, I’m happy that I am raising my children to have manners and show people of all backgrounds, religions, etc. respect. Our trip was going great before this but I would be lying if I said the dynamic of this vacay hasn’t changed. Not sure we will return and feel bad for the staff that had to deal with the situation, as well as clean up the unnecessary mess.

We are truly disappointed that you encountered this experience. We certainly understand that you feel a more severe punishment was in order and we will review our internal processes with our team. At this time, our procedure is to provide a warning first, especially as this was a child. This situation is certainly uncharacteristic of our guests and hope that we'll have the opportunity to serve your family again should your travels return you to Fort Lauderdale so you can enjoy the five star experience our team strives to provide.

We just stayed one night before driving down to the keys. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was gorgeously appointed. Preimium coffeemaker with Lavazza coffee which was outstanding. The best in room coffee I have ever had. The one downfall which the property cannot control is the noise from the building being built next door. Really made the balcony with an ocean view unusable during the day. Overall it was one of the nicer resorts I have stayed in in a while.
