Continue to have good luck with quality inns. This one is very well maintained, clean. Good location for Everglades and Biscayne parks. Simple breakfast included. Clean pool. Helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.
My room was in the annex. The outside key was finicky, but once I got in and into my room the key worked fine. The room was clean and adequate. The headboard had a big piece of upholsty ripped off, but other than that it was ok. Breakfast was just ok.
Great value, great staff, clean room, great breakfast. When we went, it was the best value in the area (anything cheaper looked somewhat risky). This hotel was exactly what we needed. We did not use the pool but it did look nice. It is right down the street from the outlets, and also close to lots of restaurants and drug stores. It is as close to the keys as you can get without being in the keys! Would absolutely come back.
Upfront the people at the front desk and breakfast area are great! The breakfast is pretty good also. The room was so-so. When you got near the sink and toilet area it reeked of sewerage. I don't know if that's indicative of a first floor room in this part of Florida or what. It was clean and the a/c although a bit on the loud side, worked. We noticed about 1/2 of a large bottle of bourbon at one of the tables by the pool so I'm sure some people were well lubricated. And then people would stand in the door smoking (pot too) and blow the smoke out side. Some way the pot stench made it into our room and we smelled pot all the way to our next destination. One other couple we met complained about people talking loudly outside there room at 2 or 3 in the morning.
First contact with Mr. Alex( front desk )was very pleasant. he saved us a nice room. We arrived very late. Ms. Monica( front desk ) was also very pleasant, professional and kind. Ms. Aixa, guest services is very hard working, pleasant and her attention to details was impressive. All the staff were very nice. a good location, clean rooms, safe, plenty to do and see with good access. A very very pleasant experience.
We stayed one night at the Quality Inn Florida City. We were in room 105. This room was chosen for us by the staff, as the one meeting our needs. The room had one king bed, TV, A/C, microwave, small fridge with an ice compartment, desk and rolling chair, one comfy chair, phone, clock radio, iron and ironing board, and a safe. The bathroom had a tub and shower, but the sink was outside the bathroom. There was a pool, which we didn't use, and free breakfast. The staff were very friendly. The place is set back from the road, so you have to look for it (behind a gas station). Because of a recent rain, there was a large puddle on the way in. We would stay there again.
Stayed here, again, and it was great. The people working there are friendly. The place was clean. It is a good price in a great location. Kids loved swimming in the pool. We had a timing issue and needed to check out a little bit late on the last day, and the manager was happy to assist us! Stay here if you can!
The staff is very welcoming. Quiet nights stay. Breakfast ok. Seating inside and a few tables outside to enjoy. Picnic tables and a couple of charcoal grills if you would like to use. A few restaurants nearby too. This hotel could use a few updates. It is older, but we enjoyed our rest here we decided to stay a second night. 2 different rooms experienced. First night shower had better water pressure but second shower was adequate; if we didnt have a comparison from the noght before we wouldnt have noticed. Mice location if driving to and from the Keys.
This was a great location for our family of 4 to explore the Everglades and the Florida Keys during the President's Day weekend winter getaway. We stayed here for 6 nights and easily made multiple trips into the Everglades, Biscayne Bay, and 2 trips onto the Keys from here. It is right on the main road, so it is easy to find and access, but behind some gas stations, so there is no noise from the road. The room was nice, but not the highest quality (especially the bathroom). The rooms have laminate floors, which are easier for them to clean, but you do feel the dirt you track in. My kids loved the pool, which was heated (sometimes a little cooler would have been nicer). There were often other families there for them to play with and many comfortable seats for parents to watch from. The breakfast was also nice and great to have before a day of adventures. The first day we arrived they were without power for many hours due to an issue the area out of their control. The staff was very nice and did all they could to make the situation easier.…
We stayed for one night and were pleased with our stay. The breakfast options were good. The bathroom and shower were clean, the bed was clean and comfortable. We loved the little covered outdoor areas with seating throughout the property. Our customer service interactions, although limited, were all good. The proximity of this location to the south entrance of the everglades is very good. As has been mentioned by others when we went barefoot in the room there was a noticeable amount of dirt and hair stuck to our feet, it was not a dealbreaker by any means but i would suggest keeping socks on or something when in the room.
