We had a great time…Great Location to view… Nice place to stay …But They need to Be Focus on cleaning better the rooms…. Also Checking IN Lady take care us with a good attitude …Excellent Breakfast Area…
I booked and paid for a poolside room - they don't have any. Poolside denotes me waking out my door onto the pool patio. Not crossing the parking space and driveway to get to the pool. As a result I never used the pool.
the bathroom where a little dirty beside that the room was clean there was hair in shower. the outside was nice and very quite and peaceful the staff was wonderful I have stayed there before close to alot of stores.
Nothing great about this place. Was skeptical about booking a Super 8 but seeing it had good reviews, I booked here for 2 nights to wait out a cancelled flight. Paula at the front desk was very friendly and caring. Room is decent but there were lots of tiny bugs walking around mostly the sink area. Hotel grounds aren't that great and pool area kinds stinks. Breakfast was OK but nothing too great. I'll pay the extra $20 to stay somewhere else next time. I don't see how anyone is giving 5 stars here.
This hotel is conveniently located to the Everglades. The staff was exceptional pleasant and helpful. The rooms have been updated. It is a good choice if you are looking for a location that is close to the Everglades.
the worst hotel ever!!! They have the ("bed bug") all over the bed,we stayed the motel room117 for one night.when I lay on the bed after my legs feel kind itchy.I checked on the blanket so rough .barely cover the blanket.the next day we woke up we find out bug bite all over my legs and some on my hands. Same as my friend too.and we go to front office she said will go check on that .it's been two days still so itchy.at least 30 spots bug bite on my legs .I think I should call the health department to let them know.if you don't get bug bite ,Don't come this motel, you deserve better one!.
If you are picky about cleanliness, this is not the place for you. Bugs (roaches, spiders and ants) will also share the room with you. The doors, walls, furniture and ceiling are in need of a deep clean or just a fresh coat of paint as it appears to be a quite old property. Bathtub has a slow drain, so you’ll be standing in water as you shower. Mattresses also need to be updated, not the most comfortable. On the positive side, tile on the floors and bathtub walls appeared to be in good condition. It’s a great location if you need a home base for visiting area attractions like the Everglades and the Florida Keys.
Well, you get what you pay for. The mini fridges in the rooms don’t work(had to throw out some food). Ladies in front desk are friendly at least. Rooms need a lot of remodeling. Sheets had period stains, hair dryer had gunk all over the handle, and bathroom walls were disgusting. Lamps look like they’re 100 years old. This place needs new management that actually cares about cleaning and upkeep. Won’t be staying here again after this mediocre experience.
Well, for $60 something bucks you can’t really be too picky. The ladies at the front desk were nice and friendly. Housekeeping came by to offer to clean while I was still checked in, gave me fresh towels shortly. Only thing I noticed other than the usual wear and tear in the room was that the mini fridge was not working. Pool was nice and clean so that was a bonus. Tried calling to let em know fridge was busted but no answer at that moment. It wasn’t s horrible experience but, I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here again.
I have stayed at this hotel numerous times now as a stopping point while headed to Key West and it has become my go to spot. I just stayed here last week for one night on June 12, 2021 and everything as usual was great! Check in was a breeze, our room was clean and comfortable and a really good size. The only thing I could really see being an issue for some people was that the grab bar in the shower had been painted and some of the paint had peeled off. That didn't bother us, like I said it was clean and the beds were comfortable and the location very convenient especially with the Capri Restaurant right across the street.
