I have been to Bahama Bay a few times now, my last visit was early 2021. I have never had an issue with anything in Bahama Bay. Check has always been smooth, I do know my way around the resort. 5 pools to choose from, 6 hot tubs. Only 10 minutes from Walmart and liquor stores. Obviously a car is necessary, over 30 minutes to the airport. I do have to point out that anyone saying it is 40 minutes to Disney has taken not only the long way but the wrong way. Google map it people. The entrance to Animal Kingdom is only 9 miles and is less than 15 minutes. Google maps says 15 minutes but that is doing the speed limit, most of the drive is on a country road. Entertainment is good, the food at the on-site restaurants is also good. Drinks are way over priced and they frown upon you bringing your own to the pool, so I buy one or two during the day and go back to my room to get whatever else I want. Buildings 17, 18, 19 and 22 are the best bang for your buck. About a 30 second walk to the pool, beach and restaurant.…
We rented a 3 bedroom unit for our family. It was very spacious & clean. It had a view of the lake & some trees that squirrels would often run up into. There were 2 bathrooms & the beds were all comfortable. A Nice quiet & relaxing screened in balcony, good for sipping coffee in the mornings. There are two big lakes that have a walking trail around both of them- great for walking as it is shaded most of the way. We even got to see some gators in the lake. There are 4 pools on the grounds- (2 near the front, one behind the check in office, and one behind the restaurant.) The pool behind the check in office and behind the restaurant were both pretty busy. There are also 2 hot tubs at each of those pools. We didn’t use the other 2 pools near the front so I don’t know how busy they were. There is a beach bar where you can get food and drinks & a little sandy area with palapa umbrellas behind the restaurant. There is also a kids splash pad right beside the check in office. Our youngest really enjoyed it. The grounds are really pretty at this resort. Lots of tropical foliage, all the street signs are named after somewhere in the Bahamas, and the buildings are all painted a pale tropical color. The price was really good for our room. After taxes, our room came to about $100 per night, and like I stated above, that is for a very spacious 3 bedroom unit! You can’t even stay at a regular old hotel for that anymore. The only negative i can say about this place is that it’s kind of a far drive to universal studios, (about a 40 minute drive). It is a bit closer to Disney if you are going there though. Overall, This place was way better than I expected. I would not hesitate to stay there again. …
Quiet gated community with rental condos, 3 pools, beach, tennis courts and walking trail. Great value right now. We were here for a lacrosse tournament and appreciated having a full kitchen since we needed to bring our own food to the tournament. It was very relaxing to have a spacious 2-bedroom condo for 3 days. I also liked that you can take a 3D tour of all units before you book.
Ideal location for a holiday around the theme parks. Would need a car to get around. Condos have everything you could need for your stay (washing machine, oven, cutlery, towels, fridge, ice etc). There are a number of swimming pools of the complex and hot tubs which are great and open until late. The pools have pool bars too for drinks/ food. There are pool tables which are free to use. There is a great path around the complex and lakes etc which is good for a walk or run. There is a gym on site which is small but has what you need.
Friendly resort with spacious rooms. This resort is great for families and was quiet during our stay in November. I recommend you have a car as it is a few miles away from amenities. There is a sauna in the changing rooms located in reception area we didn't find it until the last day.
