From the moment we parked the car, Michael came out of the office to help us to our room and offer us a refreshing drink. We have stayed in many commercialized properties but if you want the fun and personal attention of a smaller property, this is the place! Waterfront deck frequented by dolphins and manatee in the evening and free use of kayaks. Fantastic stay!

This little oasis is GORGEOUS! My gf and I stayed here for a small weekend getaway and it was lovely!! The hotel has a beautiful beachy theme, and was very cozy! The whole place is very small, probably about 8-10 rooms total! Which was nice because at breakfast and general the resort felt very private! This was especially nice in Covid times, as it didn’t feel too crowded or risky at all! The resort also has free kayaking, paddle boarding, bikes, and a plunge pool for guests! My gf and I did the kayaking and paddling boarding for the first time ever, and it was a lot of fun! They also have a free small breakfast in the morning. Only two comments I would make: *Try not to get room 1, especially if bothered by the sound of traffic! We had this room and the only issue is it is right off the road, so it was a little loud hearing traffic go by at night. If you’re a light sleeper I’d recommend requesting an inner room! *The property also has only 7 parking spaces for guests. The parking is very tiny, and when driving by it is kinda hard to tell what is and isn’t a spot! I wished this was a little clearer but we figured it out! The owners of the hotel aren’t always on property but respond quickly if you text with any questions. *Also when you first pull in, the front side may look very small, but I promise you when you walk into the room and back you’ll be pleasantly surprised!! Overall, a charming and beautiful resort! Very relaxing, especially out back.

Complimentary kayaks and you’re on the water! Adirondack chairs on the walk out by the water with a fancy fire pit . The pool was spotless tons of seating .. chairs and loungers . umbrellas for shade cabanas with the curtains ! True island oasis feel to the whole place ! Staff was marvelous! We will be back !

What a great location for starters. Clean room, fridge, microwave and all the basics for eating in. Loved the faux electronic fireplace on the wall. WiFi was quick. Maybe the best part is the deck out back on the waterway. We spent better then half our time out there watching the small boats go by... along with the tiki hut floating boat bar. We are still chuckling about thing. Breakfast was great which consisted of muffins, bagels/toast, yogurts, cereal, fruit and juice & coffee.... more then enough to get us moving. There’s a huge hot tub on the deck, kayaks & breezer type bikes. 10-12 minute ride to Doc’s Beach House. Fish House restaurant next door for take out or dine on their deck. Latitude staff was great. Was greeted by Mike and given a rundown on the property, time breakfast was served, the fireplace table on the deck. Met the owner Paul a couple times & a new guy whom I forgot his name... good folks running this place. Yes there is road noise but it dies down after 10-10:30. I used a “white noise“ app on my phone which was only needed the first night as a precaution due to the reviews of “all that noise”. Parking was fine since we kinda stayed at the hotel or rode to the beach. The other lot probably could use a sign stating it’s Latitude 26 overflow lot just as it is an overflow lot for the Fish House. Looking forward to another visit, not even a 2nd thought we will return. We felt like we were staying at a friends place.
