We stayed at the Rehoboth Beach Boutique hotel and was very happy with our room. We were looking for a clean room that was convenient to the downtown area at a reasonable price. Beach Boutique checked all the boxes. Clean, quiet and convenient.
Potential guests beware that the Front Desk is not open from mid-afternoon until early the next morning. When you return to the 4-story hotel mid-afternoon, you will find the front doors locked and a signed posted on it stating "The office will be closed tonight and reopen in the morning. Please use your room key at the left entrance of the building to enter and exit. If you have an emergency please call....." and they post a 302 area code number. If I had an emergency, I would call 911 but, oh wait, they wouldn't have been able to get into the building! What if an ambulance was called for a medical emergency such as a heart attack? Precious minutes would be wasted by the EMTs having to call a phone number "in an emergency"! How long will it take someone from the hotel to get there to open the doors? This is a security issue and a very UNSAFE situation especially when only a handful of cars were in the parking lot overnight. I left after 2 nights of a 6 night stay. My reservation was for Labor Day September 6, 2021 - September 12, 2021. Oh and by the way, there is NO REFUND if you depart earlier than your reservation. The rate I paid for WAS NOT a prepaid rate. It was the regular rack rate. I am now out $485.07 because I chose my safety as a solo female traveler. I ended up driving home the 3rd night cutting short my vacation instead of staying in an unsafe situation.…
Located over 2 miles from the beach and clearly a re-branded Comfort Inn/Holiday Inn Express/Comfort Inn steps from the main drag, this hotel's name is a bit misleading. What it is, however, is a basic hotel with ok beds, standard bathroom (clean - no toiletries), good amenities (fridge, microwave) and laundry for those persons staying more than a few nights. Due to Covid, breakfast wasn't much, instead - head next door to Fresh Market for more palatable offerings. Note that the carpeting throughout and the pool area were tired and clearly past their use-by date.
This was our first time not choosing a national chain while on vacation. We were pleasantly surprised. The Beach Boutique offered everything a chain offers at a much more affordable price. The place is well maintained, clean and super convenient to the beach and highway 1 , connecting points north and south. We were a little disappointed that the breakfast area was closed. They did offered coffee, orange juice and some danishes and coffee rolls. We will certainly consider staying there in the future.
What it is not: The Beach Boutique Hotel is neither near the beach nor a boutique hotel. What it is: The Beach Boutique Hotel used to be a Holiday Inn Express- at least that’s what the linens say. It is on the main drag with lots of other hotels and the Tanger Outlets. It is next to a Fresh Market so getting groceries and supplies is easy. We had a king room which was spacious and comfortable. The room has a coffee maker, microwave and a nice size fridge. It was nice to be able to bring leftovers back and to keep soda and waters cold. The furnishings are basic but spotlessly clean. Bath towels are small but absorbent. Toiletries are inadequate. Bring your own. There is no stay over cleaning due to COVID so don’t expect housekeeping. The pool area is old and very basic but again, clean. The pool area towels are terrible. Bring your own beach towel. There are about 20 loungers and a few round tables with umbrellas to provide a bit of shade. For the price, it was a very good hotel. Be prepared to drive or take the bus to the beach.…
We checked into this hotel at midnight after having a problem at both the RodeWay Inn and the Econo Lodge. The room was clean and comfortable. The gentlemen at the desk was friendly and professionally. He extended our check out for us since we checked in so late. Would stay here again but know that you have to ride to the beach.
A nice hotel on the main shopping strip. Close to the beach (10 minute drive), many nearby restaurants and plenty of shopping. We enjoyed our stay and the free breakfast was basic, but a plus. We will be back.
Wonderful king room, really clean, modern, perfect. Sheets were the softest I've ever had in a hotel. Nice pool out back, not in front on the highway. Would have been a plus if breakfast wasn't just continental. And it's on Route 1, a busy highway which suited my needs this time, but don't be fooled by the name. I'd definitely go back if my travels dictated this location. Also, it used to be a Holiday Inn Express & they had a "pillow menu" where you had a choice of pillows, & I saw the pillow cases were marked as Firm vs. Soft. Nice to have choice.
We stayed here after leaving the Econo Lodge! OMG this place was a palace compared to Econo! Booking again right now!! It was so much fun. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time. My mother in law loved her ro too! The beds were very comfortable. We all know that is a Bessing down the beach to find great bed!!
This is our third year at this hotel. Great experience and the entire staff was very accommodating and customer oriented. Breakfast was good and we used the room throughout our stay. The hotel was located near the bus terminal. Also we were near all the outlet shopping.
