A personal welcome awaits you at Kingfisher Guest House, backed by our commitment of making your stay as comfortable and pleasurable as possible. Kingfisher Guest House is situated a mere 400 m from the beautiful beaches of Port Elizabeth. The Port Elizabeth Airport is approximately 7 km away; no more than a 10-minute drive by car. A shopping centre is within walking distance from the guest house, whilst the Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment Complex, just over a kilometre away, offers a variety of excellent restaurants and cuisine for all tastes. We offer rooms with either a double bed or twin rooms, which are rooms with two single beds. The choice is yours! In addition, our beds are covered in only the finest quality Egyptian cotton percale linen. All our rooms are en-suite and each room has its own private entrance and patio, all distributed around a magnificent pool with chair and table sets and recliners. Please note that the pool area is unfenced and where applicable to your familial status, you are responsible for and should take special care of any minors in your party.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at King Fisher guest house . We were warmly welcomed by Henk and Cilliers ! Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything necessary to have the best stay possible. The Kingfisher Guest House is a welcoming and comfortable stay for our last night in South Africa. Our room, Hawaii, was a bit "quirky" (in a good sense), clean and comfortable, with its own private courtyard. We had an excellent "full English breakfast" prior to our departure. The owners are friendly and chatty. I selected the property based on its high rating/ reputation on TripAdvisor and was not disappointed in any way. I have visited Summerstand, 3 out of the past 4 years, and recommend staying there over a local hotel/ apartment rental. Excellent value for the money.

Not only well situated but also best run B&B in the Eastern Cape! Walking distance from the beach where you can go for a dive or just stroll on the pier, beautiful well kept garden and everything you need to make your stay unforgettable. Free wifi, beautiful clean rooms with aircon, friendly staff and a breakfast with home baked treats. Henk and Cilliers the hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Definately to be recommended if you visit The Eastern Cape.

We stayed for 1 night, and the guest house is lovely. Unfortunately we were late arriving so couldn't use the beautiful pool area. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious,and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent.

The breakfast presentation was the best we have ever experienced. The rooms are spacious and well equiped and very neat. Everything is in good taste. Friendly people. Will highly recommend. There are strict rules, which we like, because this makes your stay peaceful an enjoyable. Full marks for this one

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely little B&B close to PLZ Airport and only a very short walk to the shore boardwalk. Cilliers & Henk, we’re excellent hosts, providing great recommendations for restaurants and a wonderful breakfast.

This guesthouse is perfect in every way. My room was stylish, clean and well appointed with every conceivable amenity. The hosts are knowledgeable, professional and give the highest service. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. If you are traveling to PE look no further this place is ideal and you won’t be sorry.

One could not fault this beautiful Guest House. We arrived on a flight fairly late in the evening and Henk stayed up to let us into the gate. Our room was beautifully appointed - everything that one could want or need. It far exceeded our expectations. The beds were super comfortable and we certainly had better nights sleep in these beds than on our precious 19 days in Southern Africa. The Guesthouse is in a lovely residential area close to the beach. The breakfast room it well appointed, and Henk and Cilliers cook everything themselves and serve it beautifully - like pictures on a plate. They had home made bread - to die for. The laundry service that they have teamed up with also provide a good service. There is nothing negative so say about this place. It has good security and even a panic button in the rooms. Henk and Cilliers take their customers seriously and seriously give outstanding service. They have a passion for their local community as well and appear to have an active role in trying to improve it. It was a pleasure to stay in such a safe, comfortable and caring facility.
